Jason drove the BMW with smooth, aggressive control, exiting the exclusive subdivision and hitting the highway toward the city. The drive was made in a silence charged with adrenaline, broken only by the low murmur of the car radio. Ethan, sitting in the back, was no longer thinking about Vincent's threat, but about the meeting ahead.
Soon, they reached the heart of the MIT campus. Jason navigated the internal roads until he brought the car to a clean, sharp halt right in front of the main Administration building entrance, where the stone steps met the sidewalk.
Ethan leaned forward and reached for the door handle.
"Boss," Jason said, his voice firm and brooking no argument, without turning around. "Stop."
Ethan paused his hand just short of the chrome. "What is it, Jason?"
