My gaze drifted across the space to where William sat. He was on his phone, but he was typing too hard. His fingers were just flying over his keyboard, I looked opposite him and instantly suspected the reason behind his sudden deep concentration.
Kieran had left to make the "Healthy" drink. I scooted closer to William only to see that he'd not even been typing, he was just messing around on his calculator app. I knew I wasn't good at math, but it didn't seem like he was solving any equation either.
"So," I said, sliding even closer to him "How are things with you and Vince?"
William didn't even glance up from his phone, "We broke up," He muttered under his breath.
I stared at him in pure disbelief "You… broke up? But why?"
Not that they had ever made it official, of course I didn't say these words out because I still valued my life.
William turned to me, staring straight into my soul.
