Chapter 246 - Chapter 246 – “Golden Lion’s Severed Arm: You Absolutely Cannot Escape from Here!”

Golden Lion felt the scenery shift abruptly before him, and suddenly a sky-piercing blade came slashing straight toward him.

He was moving at extreme speed, heading right into the blade as if he had willingly thrown himself at it.

The sudden anomaly left Golden Lion completely dumbfounded.

I clearly broke through the colorless domain… so why am I still inside it?

I was rushing outward… so why am I suddenly under Rosinante's attack? And heading straight into it?

Everything happening in that instant left him utterly confused, with no idea what was going on.

For a fleeting moment, Golden Lion froze.

Thankfully, having survived countless storms over a long life, he had seen too many strange things to be completely paralyzed. Even though this was extraordinarily bizarre, in a crisis he instinctively reacted.

He hurriedly crossed his twin blades before him, raising them to block the sky-piercing strike.

There was no better option. The situation had appeared too suddenly—he had no time to react further, no time to dodge. The blade was already upon him.

Moreover, he was moving toward the blade at tremendous speed, making it impossible to adjust his trajectory to evade.

The only reason he could manage to cross his swords in time was because he was Golden Lion—a master swordsman.

Almost simultaneously, the Heavenly Collapse Slash blade descended, striking his crossed swords.

An instant of infinite cutting power erupted. Golden Lion's swords burst with immense force, an endless sword intent exploding from his body, resisting the wild power of the descending blade.

Suddenly, a crack appeared along his twin swords.

No… these swords can't withstand my strength and Rosinante's blade!

Golden Lion's face changed drastically as more and more cracks formed along his swords.

It seemed he had made a resolute decision. He unleashed all his remaining strength in a sudden, violent burst.

The enormous force of his slash collided with Rosinante's blade, cutting through everything.

His severed swords flew through the air, along with a bloodied arm, falling to the ground below.

Once the blade's fury subsided, Golden Lion clutched his shoulder, blood continuously flowing from it. One of his arms had been severed at the shoulder.

At the last moment of that strike, he had poured all his strength into resisting Rosinante's sky-piercing blade, shifting his body just enough to partially evade it—but the cost was two swords and an arm.

The massive blood loss left his face pale, mixed with disbelief and confusion.

He still could not understand why, having clearly rushed outward, he had suddenly appeared under Rosinante's slash.

It seemed as though Rosinante had already anticipated his every move, waiting there prepared, ready to strike.

"Looks like you're very puzzled, huh?" Rosinante said calmly.

Golden Lion glared furiously, but within this domain, no sound would leave his mouth.

"Do you know why I brought you here?" Rosinante asked.

Golden Lion furrowed his brow at the question.

"It's not because I set a trap to attack you. I know that with your strength and ability, Golden Lion, no trap would affect you!" Rosinante continued.

Hearing that, Golden Lion sneered, though a trace of pride flickered in his eyes.

"The only reason I brought you here," Rosinante said calmly, "is to trap you."

Trap me? Golden Lion's confusion deepened. There was no visible trap here—how could he possibly be confined?

Moreover, in the entire world, there was no place that could hold him. Even the Navy's great prison, Impel Down, he had escaped from.

"To trap you, we went to great lengths. The surroundings here are filled with countless wormhole corridors. There is absolutely no way you can escape!" Rosinante said, his voice firm and unyielding.
