Chapter 7 - Angel, Put Sad Wings Around Me Now

"These records are dedicated to a specific person. If you, the reader, are not that specific person, keep reading anyway! If you have the courage to learn the truth and act on it! I'm speaking to that specific person now. Have you met him? He will guide you. Trust the light. He will explain the details to you. Please don't be afraid. I'll do everything I can to help you. I'll help all of Grundia. Thanks be to God! I'm calling out to everyone reading this book! I'm sure not only good people will read this book. I'm speaking to you, the apostle or prophet of Michael. Twelve hundred years after my death, the Holy War will begin. And humans will win this war. You won't be able to stop it! God always prevails. I trust those who seek the truth. Trust yourself!...

… Now it's time to explain what I wrote in the previous section: I said that Michael ruined everything. If I need to explain, it all started like this: In the beginning, there was only God and "-*0*-*0". After God fought with "-*0*-*0" and sealed it, He absorbed half of it. By absorbing half of the sealed one, God gained the power of creation. The sealed one was split into two parts and formed the void. God was left alone and grew bored. Then He divided Umeriya into five parts. He created the remaining three realms. He filled the three realms with His creations. He chose Umeriya as His homeland. Tenhiya was the place that took the most pieces from Umeriya. That's why it was God's blessed place, paradise. For Tenhiya, He created angels. He made angels from light, radiance, and beautiful words. Then He created Prugiya. Prugiya was a bridge to the other realms. A bridge that contained nothing… For its security, He created jinn. He made jinn from water and air. Next was Heldia. Heldia had taken almost no pieces from Umeriya. It was a place made entirely of fire. For this place, He created demons. He used fire and earth for the demons. God grew bored again. Finally, an idea came to God. The races would compete among themselves, and the winner would receive a piece of God's spirit. The games began, but none of the races acted fairly, so God used a piece from all the realms and races to create Grundia and humans. Humans were made of fire, earth, water, wind, light, and beautiful words. They inherited the ego of angels, the jealousy of jinn, and the evil of demons. Grundia, likewise, took on the characteristics of all the realms. Finally, God breathed His spirit into humans, and humans gained God's pride…"

This was the part Guren remembered reading before falling asleep at the beginning of the book. While reading, he had drifted into a sweet slumber.

And he was there again… Black void, mist, light. Unlike the last time, Guren could feel his body this time and could move. He was used to what was happening now. He understood what was coming and that there was nothing to fear. He had to find the man of light who had spoken to him. He had to be brave now. He started walking toward the light. He continued walking through the mist in the void. Toward the light… At some point, the light began to fade, and the mist started to clear. Guren found himself in a desert. He was wearing a white outfit, and in his hand was a staff. The sun and sand were scorching. Guren knew this was a dream. He looked around from the top of a dune and saw a hut in the distance. He walked toward the hut. The hut was small and made of wood. It also faced a deep blue sea. Guren stepped inside. A young man was sitting there. He had light brown hair and a clean face. There was a halo above his head. He was wearing the same outfit as Guren. This was an angel. In front of the chair he sat on was a table, and on the table were two cups and a teapot. At one side of the round table was an empty chair. The angel spoke, gesturing toward the table with his hands:

- "Welcome, Guren!"

Guren, in shock:

- "W-Welcome."

Guren sat down.

- "I'm sure you have many questions, Guren. Don't worry, I'll answer them all."

- "Can you first explain what's going on, and who are you?"

- "Hmm… First of all, I'm an angel. My name is Misosazai. I'm the angel of death…"

Misosazai waved his hands frantically:

"I'm not here to take your life, don't worry. I'm here to fulfill my part of the agreement."

- "What agreement?"

- "I'm explaining. We're in Prugiya right now. In other words, purgatory. You're dead for two seconds."

Guren panicked.

- "WHAT, I'M DEAD??"

The angel remained calm.

- "Calm down. You're not dead. Well… you're only dead for two seconds. Let's get to the point. I was the one in your previous dream. I brought you here so we could talk safely."

- "Are we in danger?"

- "Look, I understand you're curious, but please don't interrupt me. I'm explaining."

- "Sorry…"

- "Yes, we're in danger. This is the safest place we can talk. Beyond that sea is Tenhiya. The south of this desert is Heldia, and the north is Grundia. You came from the north. Now, brace yourself for what I'm about to say."

Guren swallowed hard.

"You must have noticed strange things happening lately. It all started with the book and the psychological changes you've experienced recently. It's all because of the book. You felt the book calling you, didn't you?"

Guren grew serious.

- "Yes."

- "That's because you're the reincarnation of the prophet Moses—"

Guren gave a puzzled look.

- "What's reincarnation?"

- "It means you're the reborn form of Moses."

- "Reborn?"

- "Yes, reborn."

- "Who?"

- "You."

- "Whose?"

- "MOSES'!"

- "Me?"

Guren was in shock, and Misosazai, who had been calm until now, got angry.

- "Damn it, kid, stop playing dumb!"

Guren took a sip of the tea in front of him.

- "I don't know what to say. I'm so shocked."

- "Guren, how old are you?"

- "6."

- "You're smart and mature for your age."

Guren, shyly:

- "That's what they say."

- "That's because of reincarnation. Before Moses died, he sacrificed his memories to leave you powerful weapons. And he wrote down everything he knew as records. But the effects of reincarnation continued and were passed on to you as experience. Not memories. You don't have Moses' memories, but you have his experiences. For every year of your life, you gain twice the experience, learning what Moses knew quickly and doing what he did swiftly. You're not Moses, but you have his soul, reflexes, and experience."

- "So, I'm not actually a 6-year-old; I have the maturity of a 12-year-old."

- "That's what I'm talking about. Another thing is the crescent mark on your elbows."

- "Can I make a guess?"

- "Go ahead."

- "Is that my Divanitas ability?"

- "Full marks!"

Guren punched the air in excitement.

- "Yes, that's your Divanitas ability. The ability you got from Moses. You also have two more Divanitas abilities. One was given to you by Michael, and the other by God. When I said 'Accept my gift' in our last meeting, I was actually giving you the ability sent by God. Good thing I gave it to you in time. That's why your teacher Kris couldn't find your Divanitas."

- "What would've happened if he had?"

- "If he had, he would've realized you're a reincarnation. Normally, Michael gives humans one or two Divanitas. Three Divanitas has only one meaning: Prophet. Those with three Divanitas are prophets. (Don't worry, you're no longer one, but you still have a mission.) Prophets are born with great calamities or blessings. You weren't born with any event. So, they could've figured out you're a friend of God."

- "I see. Am I important?"

- "Yes, you're important!"

Guren was very excited. The angel continued.

- "The ability from Moses: Space-time control.

The ability from God: Seal.

The ability from Michael: Controlling the manatrons within yourself.

Discover and learn your abilities yourself. And never use all three abilities at once or tell anyone about them."

- "Got it!"

- "The next topic is very important, listen carefully. What's written in the book is true, Guren. Michael really isn't God. He's just an angel, a liar. He changed humans and disrupted the order of the realms. Power and pride blinded him. Back in the day, Moses and his team fought Michael's army as the 7 Deadly Sins. Now, that legacy has been passed on to you and the other six children. Guren, your responsibility is to stand against the world and fight Michael for truth and justice. Just like you did as Moses. Do you understand what this means?"

Guren felt as if he'd been struck.

- "W-What, you mean I have to fight against my father, my family, and the kingdom?!"

- "Guren, I know it's hard, but…"

- "Shut up, shut your mouth, I don't want to hear it!"

Guren covered his ears and collapsed to the ground.

"My father didn't do anything wrong! And he's going to be my enemy?"

- "Guren, I'll only tell you this: Tomorrow, visit the church and the library. Our two minutes are almost up. Staying dead for more than two seconds is dangerous. We'll meet again tomorrow."

The angel stood up, hugged Guren, and started running north. Guren looked at the angel angrily. The angel dropped Guren into the black void and said:

"Farewell, Guren, see you tomorrow night," and disappeared.

Guren woke up to a brand-new morning.
