Chapter 163 - one last meeting

Yu Sui spoke with a heavy heart, his voice laced with a hidden sorrow.

"From today onward, they must be the ones to look after Mo Yan... and they must make absolutely sure that he never finds out about me."

All three of them knew, deep down, that one day they would have to go to the academy. And there was no doubt in their minds that Mo Yan would come.....with hope in his eyes....seeking Yu Sui, searching for him, clinging to him like always.

But that very thought was what tore Yu Sui apart the most.

He loved him. And to protect him, he was choosing to stay away.

His heart felt like it was being ripped apart, like worn fabric giving way under pressure.

Their honest hearts and unspoken emotions had become like a spring flower....angry at the season, refusing to bloom.

That is why, a long time ago, Yu Sui entrusted Mo Yan..(Wang Gung).....to Joye and Shu Bi Suan.

He had faith in them. He loved them.

Until now, Yu Sui had showered Lao Duan with boundless affection, keeping his promise. He had not only given Lao Duan his love, but also the love of a sister....and, more than anything, the love he had always longed for: the love of a mother and a father.

Lao Duan's heart had been drenched in that love, and it spilled from his eyes in quiet tears.

Yu Sui and Wuzu were genuinely happy that Lao Duan had finally received the happiness he deserved.

For once, he had truly felt the warmth of parental love.

But parting from someone you love with all your heart…

That is never an easy decision.

And this was the decision that had left every heart trembling.

Yu Sui had made up his mind.

He could no longer hide his true identity.

Day by day, his soul was clawing its way out, overpowering him.

He had to Go to the Hei Lin San Sect....no matter the cost.

Tonight would be his final night with them.

He had already spoken at length with his parents, shared his heart, and made peace.

He was content.

But Wuzu and Lao Duan… they had no idea what their hearts would endure once Yu Sui was gone.

Right now, he was still before them.

But once he left this place, there would not be enough shards of glass in the world to match the number of pieces their hearts would be shattered into.
