The voice echoed through the hall and I gasped. I had expected to receive another hot dashing slap from my mother but felt nothing.
"Do not hit her!" The voice roared with a spoken amount of command and I opened my eyes, curious to look at who had spoken. Another gasp left my lips when I realized who it was.
Austin.
I swallowed, he was on his feet, palms resting flatly on the table while Mother turned to face him, her hand hanging in the air.
What the hell is he doing?
"Al-Alpha Austin this bitch deserves to be punished do not let her innocent face trick you, she's more evil than you can think," Mother yapped and my chest tightened from her words.
I didn't do it on purpose, how had I even fallen in the first place? There was no obstacle on the ground.
