Chapter 473 - Chapter 468: Bibi Dong’s Decision

(AN: While these may look like filler chapters now, it is necessary and will be linked to Qian Renxue's growth later.)

----

After fighting and killing Bo Saixi, Bibi Dong did not feel the satisfaction she had imagined, instead there was only emptiness.

The revenge had been achieved, leaving behind a hollow void that she could not fill. Her steps felt heavier than ever as she returned to Spirit Hall, her mind unusually quiet.

However, what awaited her there was something she had not expected. The news of the miracle.

The light that had descended, the whispers among the masses, the faith that had surged almost overnight—it all pointed to one existence.

The Angel Goddess.

Bibi Dong's eyes darkened slightly.

A thought that she had always suppressed began to surface uncontrollably.

Perhaps… her daughter was never ordinary.

With that thought lingering in her mind, Bibi Dong found herself standing before the Elder Hall. Her gaze lingered for a moment before she stepped inside, her movements slower than usual.

She walked through the familiar yet distant corridors until she reached Qian Renxue's room.

For the first time, she had stepped into this place—not as the Pope, but simply… as a mother.

Unknowingly, tears gathered in her eyes, she did not even realize when they had formed.

Only when someone who had always been present disappeared… did their absence become unbearable. Bibi Dong finally understood that feeling.

The silence in the room pressed down on her, making the emptiness in her heart even more pronounced.

Then—a voice echoed within her mind.

"He… He… He… Bibi Dong, my inheritor. Is your heart so weak? I wonder why I chose you—a weak-willed mortal."

The familiar mocking tone, yet… something felt off.

Bibi Dong's instincts told there was a subtle difference in the presence—faint, almost imperceptible, but undeniably there.

Without hesitation, she replied coldly, her voice carrying a trace of ridicule.

"Says the one whose presence has become so faint these days. I thought you had died somewhere."

For a brief moment, the voice on the other side did not respond.

Inside the Rakshasa Temple, in Divine Realm, the one who had spoken through that voice—Angela, the virtual persona—fell into an awkward pause.

There was an unexpected silence on the other side, because Angela—who was imitating the Rakshasa Goddess—was momentarily rendered speechless by Bibi Dong's sharp rebuttal.

For a brief instant, she did not know how to respond, but that hesitation lasted only a heartbeat.

"Well… well… it seems your tongue has become sharper during my absence."

The familiar sinister tone returned, smooth and mocking, as if the pause had never existed.

Immediately after, a strong purple aura erupted within Bibi Dong's Spirit Sea. The Rakshasa divine intent surged forward like a dark tide, carrying with it a chilling, oppressive force that pressed down on her consciousness.

It was not merely power—it was intimidation.

Angela deliberately increased the pressure, letting it coil around Bibi Dong's mind like a lurking predator, ensuring that the illusion of the Rakshasa Goddess remained flawless.

Bibi Dong's expression stiffened slightly, but she did not retreat.

Only when the pressure had reached a sufficient level—did Angela withdraw it.

The suffocating aura receded as suddenly as it had come.

"Bibi Dong," the voice echoed again, slower this time, carrying a hint of intrigue, "you are incredibly fortunate to be chosen… as a tester for a new possibility envisioned by the Gods."

The words lingered in the air, heavy with implication, yet Bibi Dong did not respond immediately.

She simply stood there, silent, her gaze lowered slightly as if contemplating something deeper.

Seeing this, Angela narrowed her tone, shifting her approach.

"How about I make this more appealing for you?"

A faint chuckle followed.

"Information about your daughter… don't you want that?"

That single sentence caused a subtle ripple in Bibi Dong's otherwise steady mind.

Angela continued, her voice now laced with deliberate provocation.

"Did you truly believe she is dead? Even in the Divine Realm, Gods are searching for her. Your daughter… is an enigma."

The silence that followed this time was different.

Bibi Dong's fingers tightened slightly at her side.

Qian Renxue, did she ever understood her really

After a long pause, she raised her hand and quietly wiped away the tears that had unknowingly gathered at the corner of her eyes.

When she spoke again, her voice had returned to its usual calm—look, devoid of visible emotion.

"What is it… that I need to test?"

Angela's lips curved slightly on the other end.

"The task is simple," the Rakshasa's persuasive voice sounded again within her Spirit Sea,. "A series of trials set by the Seven Sin Gods. You will pass them… and use the affinity you gain to fuse their divine energies."

Then, more softly—

"A path… to something far beyond what you are now or maybe burst apart due to conflict between different energies."

"It's a deal," Bibi Dong replied without hesitation.

Zap—

A sharp streak of thunder tore through the outskirts of Heaven Dou City as Yu Ming's figure shot forward like a bolt of lightning.

His mind was in complete chaos.

'Crap!! Bibi Dong is too strong… Wasn't she supposed to be restrained by the Rakshasa Goddess's trial? Using only twenty percent of her power…?'

That thought no longer held any weight.

What he had just experienced was not something that could be explained by twenty percent, it was overwhelming.

Behind him—danger approached. Eros God's voice suddenly rang out in his Spirit Sea, urgent and sharp.

"Duck!"

Yu Ming did not hesitate. His body reacted instantly, bending low mid-sprint.
