Chapter 172 - Chapter 171: The Clash

A valley near the outskirts of the Star Dou Forest trembled under the echoes of destruction.

Crash!

The once tranquil gorge, shrouded in spirit-infused flora, was now scarred with craters, shattered boulders, and uprooted trees. The air itself quivered with soul power fluctuations, oppressive enough to suffocate the weaker spirit beasts that fled in panic.

At the heart of this storm stood Qian Xunji, robes immaculate despite the chaos, his gaze sharp and calculating. Behind him loomed Chrysanthemum Douluo (Yue Guan) and Ghost Douluo (Gui Mei), their expressions tense, their martial souls released already flaring with murderous intent. Flanking them were four formidable Soul Douluo, their soul rings orbiting like ominous halos, and several Soul Sages, blades and techniques poised, waiting only for a command.

Opposite them, a lone figure stood, battered yet unyielding.

A towering man, his frame built like a fortress of flesh and steel, exuded raw violence with every breath he drew. His black hair, once tied back, now hung wild and . His golden eyes gleamed like those of a predator defending its den. He was Tang Hao, the future infamous Clear Sky Douluo, his aura as sharp as his hammer.

At his side, clutching an infant to her chest, stood a woman of ethereal beauty. Long blue silver- hair cascaded down like a waterfall of moonlight, though strands now stuck to her sweat-streaked face. Her aura carried both gentleness and care. She was Ah Yin, the Blue Silver Emperor, who had taken human form. And nestled within her trembling arms, swaddled in cloth, was their newborn child.

Qian Xunji had received the information where they were hiding, so he took the elites of the Spirit Hall to attack them directly and capture the 100,000 year soul beast.

Qian Xunji's lips curved into a cold smirk. His voice cut across the battlefield like a blade."Clear Sky's Tang Hao… how far you've fallen. Bedding a soul beast, defiling human bloodlines, and birthing this… abomination."

His gaze swept to the child.

Ah Yin tightened her hold around the infant, trembling, but her eyes flashed with defiance. Tang Hao's roar drowned out her retort.

"Seventh Soul Skill—Clear Sky Hammer, Spirit Avatar!"

The air imploded as Tang Hao's martial soul erupted. His Martial Soul transformed into a colossal weapon, an enormous black hammer that towered like a mountain. The sheer weight of its presence bent the earth, carving trenches into the valley floor.

Qian Xunji's smirk vanished. His eyes narrowed. With a flick of his wrist, he gestured the Titled Douluo present there"Yue Guan. Gu Mei. Contain him."

"Sixth Soul Skill—Thousands and Millions of Tree Leisurely Blooms!"

Chrysanthemum Douluo's soft voice belied the deadly beauty of his power. Flower petals cascaded like rain, infiltrating the nearby trees. Their leaves twisted unnaturally, transmuted into golden chrysanthemums that pulsed with soul power. In a heartbeat, the forest itself turned into a floral arsenal. The countless blossoms converged into one massive bloom overhead, unleashing a devastating storm of razor-sharp petals that poured down like divine punishment, each strike capable of shredding steel..

"Sixth Soul Skill—Chimimoryo!"

Ghost Douluo's form dissolved into mist. In an instant, dozens of shadowy copies crawled out of the fog, each radiating killing intent. They surrounded Tang Hao like carrion beasts, their whispers echoing in the air before all of them detonated simultaneously, a chain of explosions that cracked the earth like a spiderweb.

The valley roared. Ground and sky blurred in a tempest of shadow explosions and golden flower storms.

Tang Hao wanted to attack head on, but that explosion attack took him by surprise.

"Ah Yin!!!"

Tang Hao's roar split the valley like a mountain cracking in half. His knees struck the ground with a thud, blood dripping down his lips as he tried to stand again. His massive frame trembled under the pressure of his injuries. Even with his Clear Sky Hammer, even with his rage, he could not hold against the combined might of three Super Douluo. His breath came in ragged gasps, body screaming for release, yet his spirit remained unbroken.

But his enemies were merciless.

Ghost Douluo's Chimimoryo had detonated across the battlefield in waves, and its range was so vast that even Ah Yin and the infant behind Tang Hao had been swallowed by the inferno. Dust and debris swallowed the world, blotting out sight, smothering hope. For an instant, Tang Hao thought everything was lost.

Then the storm parted.

The silver-blue figure stood tall amidst the ruin, her body shimmering faintly as strands of Blue Silver Grass wove around her, protecting both mother and child. Her silver-blue hair glowed like moonlight on water. She had survived as the attack was not directed at her.

Tang Hao staggered, blood pooling beneath him as he forced himself upright. But the hammer felt heavier than mountains; his legs quivered, and he nearly collapsed again. He had even resorted to Ring Explosion, shattering the first two rings of his Clear Sky Hammer to unleash suicidal bursts of power before. Yet against three Super Douluo at that—his defiance had been crushed.

Ghost Douluo and Chrysanthemum Douluo were stronger than the original storyline , both of them were Super Douluo Level 95 at this moment: courtesy of Qian Renxue. Otherwise Tang Hao would not have been beaten so badly even with their teamwork.

(Author Note: Tang Hao is so powerful because he is getting external help, will be clarified afterwards)
