Qian Renxue smiled, satisfied ' Another Ultimate Martial soul.'
She congratulated Jiang Mo with a rare, sincere smile.
"Congratulations, Jiang Mo. Now you're not just a genius, you're a heaven-defying genius."
Jiang Mo bowed his head slightly in gratitude, but his thoughts were anything but humble.
'I might have felt proud hearing that… if the person in front of me wasn't you. Everyone in the Elder Hall knows who awakened with Level 20 innate soul power.'
Still, he kept his face composed, showing neither envy nor awe.
Qian Renxue tilted her head slightly, her golden eyes gleaming.
"So, does your Martial Soul have any innate abilities?"
Jiang Mo blinked. "How do you know that?"
She simply smiled, offering no explanation, her silence more telling than words.
Jiang Mo exhaled with a touch of helplessness. There was no way to make this mysterious girl talk unless she wanted to.
"My Heavenly Evil-Breaking Cudgel has an innate domain—'Gravity Field.'"
His eyes sparkled with excitement as he continued.
"It increases the gravitational force around my enemies up to five times. It's a powerful control ability."
Qian Renxue's eyes lit up. "That's an incredible power. With it, you'll be able to handle multiple opponents alone. Even agility-type soul masters will be crushed under their own weight."
She gave him an encouraging nod.
"Now that your Martial Soul has evolved, you can share the good news with Sixth and Seventh Grandfather. They'll be very proud."
With that, Qian Renxue turned and quietly left Jiang Mo's room, her golden robes trailing behind like drifting clouds.
-------
Later in the evening, Qian Renxue strolled through the corridors of Spirit Hall, her mind preoccupied.
'By now, the news of Jiang Mo's martial soul evolution must have fermented among the elders.'
Sure enough, as she entered the grand Main Hall where the worship elders often gathered, the atmosphere buzzed with faint excitement. She had barely taken a few steps when two familiar figures appeared before her.
"Renxue!"
Before she could react, Jiang Long swooped her up like a feather, cradling her in his arms as if she were still a toddler. Though she was already seven and a formidable Level 38 , her small frame , made it all too easy for the seventh worshiper to lift her up effortlessly.
"Seventh grandfather, put me down!" she protested, cheeks reddening.
"Haha! Just like the old days," Jiang Long laughed heartily.
Jiang Jun stood beside him, grinning from ear to ear. "Renxue, thank you for the Martial Soul Evolution Pill you gave Jiang Mo. That boy was crying tears of joy. We elders couldn't be prouder."
Qian Renxue, feeling the weight of their gratitude and affection, was slightly flustered. "It's just a small thing... Jiang Mo is my good friend."
'It's nothing, I'm just investing in the person who might be one of my anchors in future.'
Before she could say more, a stern voice boomed from behind.
"You two! How dare you pick up Renxue without my permission?"
Golden Crocodile Douluo, the Second Worshiper, strode forward with a mock glare. With a flash of spirit power, he moved like a gust of wind and took Qian Renxue from Jiang Long's grasp.
"She should be picked up by me!"
"Not again..." Qian Renxue muttered under her breath as she found herself now in the arms of Golden Crocodile Douluo.
She recalled last time how all six of them had pulled at her face and nagging her about not eating enough. If she didn't do something quickly, it would devolve into another doting grandfather contest.
She clenched her tiny fists, took a deep breath, and blurted out loudly—
"I have a way to evolve Martial Souls!"
The hall fell silent.
Six pairs of eyes turned toward her, filled with curiosity, disbelief, and sudden intensity.
Looking at their serious expressions, Qian Renxue tightened her arms around Golden Crocodile Douluo's neck slightly and said softly, but firmly,
"…For children who have recently awakened, if certain conditions are met."
Golden Crocodile Douluo's boisterous smile faded into a solemn expression. He gently set her down. His voice lowered, firm yet caring,
"Are you sure about this, Renxue?"
Qian Renxue nodded with unwavering eyes.
"Do you remember when I went to the Sunset Forest to find medicines for my injuries?"
Azure Luan Douluo, the third worshiper with long, misty blue hair, stepped forward, arms crossed with a thoughtful expression.
"Yes. I heard that a medicinal base was established there afterwards. A good number of high-grade herbs were harvested that year. ."
Qian Renxue lifted a finger to her lips and gave a light "shh," with a mischievous glint in her violet eyes.
"That is only the half-truth being told."
The gathered worshippers leaned in, their eyes glinting with curiosity.
Qian Renxue's voice softened, yet every word struck like a bell in the quiet hall.
"What no one knows... is that we found immortal herbs there."
A collective gasp was barely stifled.
She continued, voice serious now.
"Herbs not known to exist in the mortal realm. Their properties are so miraculous that they are described only in ancient tales... as growing in the realm of immortals. One who consumes an immortal herb, if their body can withstand and harmonize with it, can change their very destiny."
The air was heavy now. Each elder was holding their breath. Qian Renxue allowed a pause, letting her words sink in.
Then she added,
"And if those herbs are taken at a very young age, before the child's martial soul has fully matured and if the herb's nature aligns with the child's spirit… then evolution is possible."
