At Brightsun Elite High.... Dazzy was walking to class with his closest friend Finn was spinning a basketball on his finger while talking to dazzy simultaneously but dazzy's mind was no longer on what Finn was saying but on a beautiful girl with long flowing bright blue hair with sparkling grey eyes that held soo much innocence '' I must see her again '' dazzy muttered more to himself than anybody else. As dazzy was lost deeply in Dai's memories he suddenly bumped into someone and that intoxicating lavender scent wafted into my nose overriding my senses '' sorry.... I wasn't looking'' she apologized her head down and I smiled foolishly at her as she gasped when she noticed it was me.... I wanted to say something but when I saw her strong look of hate directed at me I got tongue tied and hurt , she then strutted right pass me that's when Finn whistled looking at her behind ''DON'T EVER LOOK AT HER THAT WAY'' I said angrily as I had Finn pressed against the wall putting pressure on his right shoulder ''Chill man she's just a chick'' He said sweat pouring down from his face ''she is MINE so don't or our friendship ends here'' I said putting emphasis on the word 'mine' ''Dude don't tell me she is your fated mate?!'' He asked his mouth agape in shock ''yeah'' I replied briefly before deciding to ignore the rest of his questions as I was still confused and hurt by the expression on her face at that time '' What did I do wrong?''
''I can't believe I bumped into him in the hallway, jade'' Dai said to her wolf as she headed to her next class ''Jade?!'' Dai called worried ''I'm not talking to you until you apologize to our mate, you hurt him'' Jade suddenly said after some minutes of silence ''Oh come on, he deserves it...you know well how much we are suffering from our mate ignoring us, acting as if he doesn't know we are mates'' Dai argued tears threatening to fall ''*sigh* alright then.... just don't hurt him... it hurts both you and I to see him hurt and you can't deny that'' Jade said with a sigh as she went back to sleep '' okay Jade.... for you'' Dai said severing the mind link with her wolf as she opened the door to her next class....''hey Dai !!over here!'' Cleo shouted immediately I entered, Dai made her way to her middle row seat with Illa and Cleo before their history teacher came in ''okay class settle down, today we would be diving into our origins.....'' Mr. Henry said prompting the class to burst into whispers but Dai and her were talking about a whole other thing ''I heard that the class rep has been spacing out in classes and has been to detention twice this week'' Cleo whispered and like clockwork Mr. Henry called on our class rep Leo to talk on dominant alpha's ,Leo who was normally sharp froze up, I furrowed my brows confused as to why Leo was just frozen when Cleo whispered to us ''Leo's been having a tough time, he's not been focusing lately....I've been watching him'' Cleo whispered her face all gossipy ''ooooohh, Don't cheat on chase Cleo'' Illa teased making Cleo anxiously explain ''I'll help him'' I whispered before getting up ''Mr. Henry can I assist classmate Leo'' I asked politely ''sure'' Mr. Henry said with a curt nod. I gave Leo a reassuring smile before effortlessly explaining the history of dominant alphas ''so In conclusion.... A dominant alpha is an alpha born from a pure wolf bloodline simply not turned'' I ended getting a round of applause from my classmates. Once I sat down Illa gave me a thumbs up ''Look'' Cleo whispered as she pointed at someone, I looked over to catch Leo's grateful stare... He mouthed ''Thanks'' then I mouthed a ' you're welcome' and smiled showing him a full display of my tiger teeth, he chuckled under his breath and I mouthed 'Focus' he mouthed an 'okay' he then gave me the most heartwarming smile and I couldn't help but blush which made my wolf protest in my mind ' what don't tell me u will not swoon, If a handsome guy is giving you a heartfelt smile' I asked her through our mind link 'No!! our mate is most handsome' she said in protest but It honestly just made me annoyed 'which mate?! the one that refuses to acknowledge you??' I shouted in my mind at her 'It's not his fault, you could've just told him!!!' she responded her pitch high causing me to block her out as it was giving me an headache. I felt a hard glare which prompted me to look back and I Saw him....Dazzy looking upset but I honestly didn't give a fig, It was because of him that I and Jade are fighting.
I was staring intently at Dai, I loved the way she answered, she was smart and bold. she looked dazzling but I didn't understand why she stared at me with soo much hate in the hallway earlier and I hated the way she smiled brightly at Leo, that smile belongs to me alone but then she looked at me though... but there was this distance like the way you look at a stranger and I didn't feel right in my heart... I felt sad and I didn't understand why ' It's cause of the mate bond...' my fairy Jonathan said through our mind link ' But I thought fairies couldn't experience the mate bond' I said skeptically in my mind 'Yes they can't have fairy mates but they can crossbreed' Jonathan said... I then remembered when she was talking to Leo and she f**king blushed, suddenly rage filled me when I thought about her blushing for another guy. Then I heard Finn[my closest friend] calling my name and he was looking at me weirdly ''Dazemond you're eyes, why are you this angry?! calm down?!'' he said I mumbled an excuse before turning into air to go to my safe space, the place I met her. I wonder why Dazzy was staring at me like that and why did It feel so good to have his eyes on me 'No Dai!!!! what are you thinking. snap out of it' I thought shaking my head repeatedly when suddenly I felt rage and It was weird as I was sure It wasn't my feelings.... so who was It? I thought to myself 'It's mate, we can feel his emotions... He's angry' Jade said with a hurt whimper. I looked back at his seat almost Instinctively but he was gone. After class I had lunch with Illa and Cleo but still there was no sign of Dazzy in the VIP area and I hate to admit It but I felt worried, As I sat under the old cherry blossom tree in the backyard Leo came ''Hi'' He said as he sat down beside me. ''what are you doing here'' I asked him straightforwardly ''woah! did someone upset you?'' he asked concerned but I just sighed ''sorry, If I sounded rude but I am In a really bad mood'' I admitted honestly 'you care about him' Jade teased and I couldn't help nut blush 'of course, he's my mate' I replied In a tone that was no less than whispering ''so I wanted to thank you for your assistance in class... my family is really going through a lot and.....*sigh*'' He said with a sigh as he rested his head on the tree bark ''It's okay Leonard, no need to thank me just helping a friend in need'' I said sincerely, he chuckled ''A friend? I don't remember when I last had one'' he said dryly and I felt sorry for him ''well you now have a friend and I am here to listen anytime'' I said as I got up preparing to head to my class, I Stretched my hand to help him up and he had this starry look in his eye and I knew well what that meant ''let's go out for lunch tomorrow'' he asked hope filled his eyes which made me feel guilty but I had to nip the bud at the root ''sorry Leonard, you're a great guy but I already have a mate'' I told him honestly but when I saw the light in his eyes dim I felt bad ''Don't worry it's not a date just my way of thanking you'' he said the air around us awkward but I agreed nonetheless,' It's just lunch' I thought while in Leo's mind another thought was brewing ' I don't believe she has a mate and for him not to be with her now means that their relationship is not good. Dai I will win your heart any means possible' Leo thought as he walked Dai to her next class.
