Still Cale's pov
The next day he got up early for the journey to his baby brother.
"Hans, is everything ready?" He asked even though he knew it is ready because lady violan was the one who take care of everything herself so her step son won't have any problem in the travel.
"Yes young master, everything and everyone was ready!" Hans replied cheerfully like always and of course his step mother won't let him go to the capital without a ton of people to make sure he was well taken care of.
Time skip to the capital
When they come to the henituse guest villa in the capital, he was welcomed like every member of the henituse family even though they were shocked to see the trash young master here instead of the count or countess.
But he ignored them in order to get to basen "take me to basen's room now" he ordered while walking towards the entrance of the villa even though he was being helped by hans to even stand.
"Yes, young master" getting out of their shock they hurriedly moved to lead him to basen's room.
After a while they were standing in front of the room, after being signal to open the door by him, some servent quickly open the door and lead them to his baby brother's bed where he was laying unconscious with third degree burns all over his body.
Hans' pov
Anyone can tell that young master basen's condition was critical and how young master Cale froze after seeing young master basen's condition looking like it physically pain him.
Young master order a nearby servent to bring the doctor currently taking care of young master basen, the servent swiftly go to fullfill the task given to them.
He tried to talk his young master into getting rest " young master, please take some rest now we're even in the villa, you aren't as fine as you think" he tried to coax him like someone would coax a little child.
"Hans, I'm not a child" his young master snapped "But young master, you wake up from your coma just a few days before you decide to come to the capital!" He said bewildered and worried at same time.
"if young master is not going to listen to me, I will have to take matters into my own hands"
"What do you mea-" young master cut himself off when he was suddenly lifted in princess style like he weighed nothing.
Young master's face flushed red he didn't know if it was in anger or embarrassment "hans! Put me down this instent! It's an order" he yelled while covering his face so it was embarrassment.
"Sorry young master but the countess herself told me take good care of you!" He replied cheerfully.
"Fine" he grumbled but it was sounding more like a pout than a grumble making his lips twitch again at his young master's cuteness.
He made him set on the chair beside the bed so he can hold his step brother's hand, young master Cale hold young master basen's hand the moment he was seated as if scared he will vanish
After a while that feel like an eternity but was only a few minutes the doctor came and told young master everything about young master basen's condition.
After hearing patiently young master dismissed him and declared that he is going to be the one who will take care of young master basen when he can't even take care of himself.
But somehow he was taking care of young master very well, 'only if he can take care of himself like this' he sighed mentally. And not only he was taking care of young master basen but the work that as the hire of the henituse territory young master basen have, young master Cale was doing better than young master basen even though he stopped studying when he was 10
But you can tell just by looking at him that he is neglecting his own health, the bags under his eyes tell you about the sleepless nights and he is wrapped in bandages from neck to toe.
