The Saiyans had begun taking on missions in exchange for payment, using the earnings to trade at Duoqian Star for rare materials essential to Sadala's continued development.
That day — in the Training Sector…
Two black, dome-shaped gravity chambers stood side by side. Outside them squatted two little brats, while nearby stood a tall woman with icy blue hair and striking curves wrapped in a tight engineer's uniform — an embodiment of cold elegance and quiet allure.
"Hey babe, how high can you crank up the gravity this time?"
Kaso looked up at the beautiful figure with eager anticipation in his eyes.
"Philiya, is it done yet?"
Ausbi'er, legs folded beneath her, puffed her cheeks and asked with a pout.
"Gravity can be increased as much as you want — as long as we have the right materials," Philiya replied, installing the final component on the second gravity chamber.
"But where did you two even find such rare metal?"
Ever since she had witnessed Kaso's terrifying power a year ago, Philiya knew — the 100x gravity chambers were no longer sufficient for him. To go higher, sturdier materials were needed.
And somehow, this little brat had brought back metals even more valuable than "Zero Metal", which was already considered precious in the universe!
"You don't need to know. Just tell me — how much did it go up by?"
Kaso scratched his cheek awkwardly, a rare trace of guilt on his face.
"Interesting," Philiya thought with an amused smirk.
For him to look even slightly embarrassed — he must've done something so underhanded even he feels a little ashamed.
"The new max is 600x gravity."
"WHAT?!"
Kaso's eyes nearly popped out of his head.
He'd expected maybe 300x, tops.
But 600x?!
He swallowed hard.
Just how expensive was this stuff on Duoqian Star?
Yes.
Although Kaso had "retired" from his "borrowing" ventures a year ago, he had recently paid another visit to Duoqian.
Even with a 150,000 battle power elite guarding the place, they still couldn't stop him.
And so, he "borrowed" a batch of rare metals right out from under their noses.
In the interstellar trade economy:
A low-class planet could be sold for 1 Black Gold unit.
A mid-class planet fetched 1 White Gold.
A high-class planet brought 1 Purple Gold.
1 Purple Gold = 100 White = 10,000 Black.
And Kaso's stolen batch of metal?
Valued at 50 Purple Gold.
Equivalent to 50 high-class planets.
If Duoqian Star's hidden boss found out, he'd probably sob in the restroom for a month.
Ausbi'er, meanwhile, jumped up excitedly.
"600x gravity! That's amazing!"
Philiya patted her head with a half-smile.
"You're happy… but the rest of us are going to cry."
In this universe, strength ruled.
If Kaso could steal these materials with his own ability, then so be it. Philiya wasn't the moralizing type.
She was just… a bit surprised that he'd shown embarrassment at all.
"Thanks, babe. Once I finish training, I'll gift you a box of spicy pickled pepper instant noodles!"
Kaso shouted as he dashed into the gravity chamber, practically glowing with excitement.
"Spicy pickled pepper flavor?!"
Philiya's eyes gleamed like two golden stars.
The Lolitas weren't known for physical strength or innate combat ability.
For Philiya, one of the few exceptions, her time was usually split between basic training, researching Capsule technology…
And snacking.
And among all foods, instant noodles — especially pickled pepper flavor — were her weakness.
"You'd better keep that promise, little brat!" she called out behind him.
"Got it!"
His voice echoed from within just before the chamber doors hissed shut.
"I'm going to train too, Philiya!"
Ausbi'er said sweetly, already floating away.
"Go on, go on…" Philiya waved, her eyes drifting dreamily toward that promised box of noodles.
Inside the new gravity chamber…
Kaso strolled around, inspecting the familiar layout. Not much had changed in design.
He couldn't wait to test its new capabilities.
"Gravity: 150x."
He muttered quietly. The chamber hummed, and a crushing pressure slammed down from all directions.
But…
He barely flinched.
Aside from a slight discomfort during the gravity shift, it was nothing.
"Let's try 200x."
He increased the multiplier gradually. He already knew from past training — the higher the gravity, the more extreme the jump in intensity between each level.
If he pushed too hard too fast, his body would be reduced to paste.
"Ah, now it's starting to feel real."
His muscles tensed under the rising pressure.
"But it's still not enough!"
"Gravity: 250x!"
Hummmm—!
The chamber trembled. Space seemed to ripple and distort. Waves of compressed air twisted into visible distortions around him.
WHAM!
Kaso was slammed to the floor.
It felt like he had just been crushed under a collapsing star.
"Holy… crap!"
He gritted his teeth, face buried in the ground.
Every single increase at high gravity levels was exponentially more intense than the last.
But this was just like the first time he pushed past 30x gravity years ago.
It was hell — but achievable.
Gritting his teeth, Kaso slowly began crawling.
Then, inch by inch, he forced himself back to his feet.
Every breath, every movement, was an enormous strain on his body.
He couldn't even walk yet — just standing took everything he had.
Half a day passed.
"I… can't… anymore! Restore normal gravity!"
Kaso collapsed face-first onto the floor.
Training had to be done step by step. No shortcuts.
Right now, 250x was his limit. He could stand, but not yet walk.
Still, he couldn't leave Philiya waiting.
When that girl got angry, it was terrifying.
Sure enough—
Kaso crawled out of the chamber only to find her still standing there, arms crossed.
"Training done?"
Philiya raised an eyebrow at the pitiful sight of him on all fours.
She showed no sympathy — like she'd seen this happen many times before.
After a short rest, Kaso managed to stand again.
He glared at her.
This crazy woman didn't even pretend to care!
"Here!"
With a flick of his wrist, he summoned a Universal Capsule, popped it open, and tossed a box of instant noodles into her arms.
As the capsule opened, Philiya leaned over and peeked into the storage space inside.
"Hissssss…!"
Her breath caught in her throat.
The entire capsule was filled wall-to-wall with instant noodles.
Why did he only give her one little box?!
