Chapter 149 - Honkai: Star Rail — Kamen Rider! [149] [500 STONES]

Kamen Rider Black RX was the direct sequel to the original Kamen Rider Black.

It was born when the Kingstone inside Kotaro Minami's body reacted to intense sunlight, evolving beyond Black to create a new Rider.

This Rider was known as the Prince of Light, the Child of the Sun.

Wherever sunlight existed, he was immortal, endlessly reviving.

But what really made him legendary was his infamous status as one of the most overpowered Riders of the Showa era.

His alternate forms, Biorider and Roborider, in particular, gave his enemies endless headaches.

Moreover, RX was the very first Kamen Rider to introduce the concept of changing forms.

"Are you also fighting to save others? Although your enemy isn't evil itself, I hope my power can aid you in your mission."

And so, entrusted with these words, the power of the Child of the Sun was granted to Hoshigaki Sora.

Sora had been using this power exclusively to save others.

But when faced with evil intentions, the power of RX would respond with unflinching resolve.

Galactic pirates were precisely that kind of evil lurking among the stars.

Thus, the Prince of Light reappeared here, once again displaying his brilliance!

BOOM!!

Sora crashed straight down onto the largest pirate ship—the one that had fired upon him moments ago.

Upon impact, the ship's deck buckled violently, exposing the mechanical structure beneath.

Sparks flew chaotically, illuminating Sora's figure.

Seeing him arrive, the Iron Cavalry zooming through space sighed helplessly.

"We couldn't finish them in time," someone lamented.

Even though they'd acted with incredible speed, they still failed to completely eradicate these pirates before Sora noticed.

"Honestly, he finally had a chance to rest. Why does this keep happening?" another Cavalry sighed.

Sora rarely had time to rest, yet just as he settled down, these pirates leaped out of nowhere to disrupt him.

Could it be that some hidden force was deliberately stirring trouble in this universe?

"Enough talk—clean these pirates up quickly so Sora-kun can rest sooner."

With those words, the gathered Iron Cavalry dispersed into every direction once again.

As for the enemy flagship, there was no need to worry—Sora himself had already gone there. That ship's fate was sealed.

Unless an Emanator-level being was aboard, everything they did now would be futile.

Moreover, they needed to hurry and finish their task before Sora sank the flagship alone.

The pirates watched as the Iron Cavalry scattered, confused by what was happening.

Especially those aboard the flagship—they simply couldn't comprehend the situation.

When they had first seen those terrifying white flames gather, despair had flooded their hearts.

These figures could dismantle ships faster than the infamous interstellar insect hordes.

But suddenly, the enemy dispersed.

"Are…are they letting us go?" one pirate cautiously speculated.

"No," the vice-captain spat out through gritted teeth, staring hatefully at the monitor. "We've been handed over to someone else!"

On the screen, two crimson eyes left an eerie afterimage before disappearing entirely.

A sharp screech of metal followed, and the screen quickly turned to static.

[Warning: Critical damage detected on outer deck. Immediate repairs required.]

It was clear—the intruder had broken through the ship's defenses and entered.

These infamous galactic pirates had actually been handed off to a single individual to deal with.

A single person, against all of them!

"This bastard thinks he can handle us alone? How dare he!" the vice-captain growled, eyes narrowing dangerously.

Maybe in open space, single combat favored those Pathstriders—but this was inside a spaceship, their own home ground.

What gave him such confidence? Was it that absurd welding-like glow he emitted?

Just as this thought crossed his mind, the door behind him abruptly warped grotesquely.

In the next instant, it exploded inward, ripped completely from its hinges.

Amidst thick smoke and debris stood a figure with piercing scarlet eyes, glaring like a demon come to claim souls.

The silver-white symbol on his chest shone brilliantly.

"Finally here, huh?" the vice-captain mocked coldly.

"Are you the leader of this pirate gang?" Sora calmly asked, showing no hint of panic despite facing a huge group of pirates.

"That hardly matters," the vice-captain sneered. "All hands, arm yourselves! Let's teach this arrogant intruder exactly who the Spider Pirates are!"

At his command, pirates quickly drew their weapons—

Swords, stun batons, pistols…

Cold steel and hot lead—all pointed aggressively toward Sora.

"Everyone, give our dear guest a proper pirate welcome!"

In space, maybe these strange armored beings had the advantage—but inside their ship, even a Pathstrider would have to behave obediently!

Not to mention, this guy showed no trace of any Path's power—just an ordinary man wearing armor!

Roaring loudly, pirates surged forward like a tsunami:

"DIE!"

"GET HIM!"

They charged with overwhelming force and ferocity—

And then…

The massive group surged forward, and just as quickly flew backward, crashing violently against walls, windows, and each other in chaotic heaps.

Bodies slammed heavily onto the decks with muffled, bone-jarring thuds.

The scene became complete chaos, filled only with flying bodies.

"Eh?!"

The vice-captain stood frozen, watching comrades sail past him, eyes widening in disbelief.

Every pirate had a distinct, fist-shaped indent left clearly on their chests.

"This... isn't right…"

An ominous chill crawled up the vice-captain's spine.

There were hundreds of pirates here, armed to the teeth, fighting in a confined space—enough to overwhelm even the galaxy's strongest mechs by sheer numbers.

So how was this happening? Why wasn't reality matching his expectations?!

In just minutes, the area was filled with groans and cries.

Yet that figure remained unyielding like an insurmountable mountain.

Each attack from him sent another pirate flying.

"Adam! Sneak attack now!" the vice-captain commanded desperately, sending out his strongest man.

A towering giant nearly 2.3 meters tall grunted and stepped forward.

Adam was infamous, having personally sunk an IPC starship with raw strength alone.

Now, roaring furiously, he charged toward Sora:

"Taste the Hammer of Pirates!"

Swinging a massive hammer with all his strength, Adam smashed down toward Sora's back.

The hammer was made of an unstable metal capable of deforming explosively upon impact, easily piercing even the toughest armor.

With this surprise attack, Adam was certain of victory!

He struck with blinding speed, aiming straight at Sora's head—

Yet Sora calmly turned around at the last second, hand smoothly drawing something from his waist.

A dazzling white blade flashed out, blinding Adam instantly—

'[REVOLCRASH!]'

CLANG!!

The giant hammer crashed onto the ship, instantly deforming and piercing layers of steel plating.

But its intended victim had vanished completely.

Adam felt an odd pain in his side and glanced down—

A glowing photon sword had pierced directly through his waist.

This position…

"Why did you…stab me in the kidneys?" Adam asked weakly, utterly bewildered.

His enemy could've easily pierced his heart—why target his kidneys specifically? Was there some special meaning?!

Before he could understand, an immense energy surge obliterated his body completely.

"Why indeed? I'm still searching for that answer myself," Sora murmured, staring contemplatively at the photon blade in his hand.

Perhaps the sword simply desired kidneys...

With Adam down, none of the remaining pirates could stand against Sora.

Within moments, every pirate lay defeated, thoroughly experiencing both the brilliance of the sun and intense kidney pain.

They'd surely never forget this lesson.

Finally, amidst fallen bodies, Sora calmly approached the trembling vice-captain.

"Now, let me ask you once more. Surely you know the correct answer this time—are you the leader of these pirates?"

A naked threat!

The vice-captain slowly backed away, terrified disbelief clear in his eyes.

One man…single-handedly defeated them all.

How could anyone be so unreasonably strong?!

"Still refusing to answer?" Sora sighed sadly. "Your bond with your comrades must run so deep that you're too grief-stricken to speak."

The vice-captain stared blankly, baffled by these unexpected words.

"I understand—parting from comrades must have left you speechless with grief."

Then came the chilling sentence:

"But since I'm a kind-hearted person, I'll send you off right now to reunite with them."

"Screw you! Are those even human words?!" the vice-captain finally exploded indignantly.

Then, kidney pain surged through him, and he collapsed beneath the radiant sunlight.

Child of the Sun, my ass!!

BOOM!
