Su Ming didn't wake the boss lady; he knew she must be exhausted. Unaware of how many days and nights he'd been in a coma, he realized she was so tired she'd fallen asleep right by his bedside!
Su Ming wanted to check his phone to see the time and how many days had passed, but the boss lady suddenly stirred, waking up and lifting her head.
The moment she opened her eyes, Su Ming noticed they were red. Obviously, she'd been crying. Seeing him awake, she was both nervous and delighted as she asked, "Su Ming, how do you feel? You must be in a lot of pain, right?"
After asking, she shed more tears and said, "What a silly question I asked; of course you're in pain!"
Seeing the boss lady moved to tears for him, Su Ming felt a surge of emotion and gently said, "I'm not in pain. Not at all!"
"Really?" Her eyes brightened upon hearing his words, but she soon shook her head and said, "You've been unconscious for days. How could you not be in pain? Don't pretend, alright?"
