The blood moon hung large in the sky, crimson and low, as we walked the path toward the royal shrine. My heart race with each step, holding both girls, Lunara in one arm, Akira in the other. Lupus walked beside me, steadfast as ever, healing scratch of the arrow still raw under his sleeve. Moon Priest carried the archive chest carefully, root seal glowing faintly violet, red, and blue. Biat, the golden‑eyed envoy, and a few trusted guards followed in the circle of torchlight.
The chilly night wind stirred the banners overhead, making the silver root glyphs shimmer. This was the final binding...the crowning center of all our trials. We reached the altar, stone carved with contract runes and wolf‑fang motifs. The air felt electric under the blood moonlight.
