Biat stepped forward. "The chest now bears both roots, witness Lunara's registration slip, spectral root binding and clause proven."
The vine‑scribe agent rose again, drawn to the chamber earlier. She placed a folded ledger slip on her desk. "Root‑bound chest is dangerous, if it splits, it voids itself. I challenge that two heirs cannot occupy one contract. We petition immediate split or nullity."
I stood beside Lunara. "We are siblings. Both children of the same mother, same vow line. Clause in mother's contract allows both heirs to divide rights. No split in inheritance, just shared bond."
I paused, grief mingled with hope. "This chest now holds our bond...neither heir stands above the other, to purge one is to erase our mother." Silence.
