The steps below the castle.
Gurd stood at a commanding height, his cold gaze looking down at Hajrudin.
"Do you fear Loki?"
"..."
Hajrudin trembled, memories of Loki flashing through his mind as cold sweat poured down his forehead.
He was Loki's half-brother.
From childhood, he had lived under Loki's shadow. With his Ancient Giant bloodline, Loki surpassed him in every way and took pleasure in tormenting him.
He hated Loki.
"My body..."
Hajrudin raised his hand, staring at the slight tremors in his fingers. His breathing grew ragged—he knew what it meant.
Fear!
Gurd watched Hajrudin coldly, his voice brooking no argument. "Hajrudin, look me in the eyes and answer my question!"
"I—"
Hajrudin lifted his head, meeting Gurd's merciless gaze that seemed ready to kill him in the next instant.
His breathing grew even more frantic.
Struggling with himself, the warrior's pride within Hajrudin refused to let him deny the truth or hide behind lies to preserve his dignity.
Hajrudin roared!
"I FEAR LOKI!!!"
"Good answer."
Gurd smiled.
There was no shame in fear. Everyone had something they feared—even him. He feared losing the property he had painstakingly accumulated.
But property could be regained!
"Hajrudin, only those who face their fears can become true powerhouses. True strength isn't just about innate power—it's about unbreakable will!"
Gurd shot forward, appearing before Hajrudin's face in an instant. His explosive speed left Hajrudin no time to react.
His right fist coiled back!
Hajrudin's pupils shrank.
Gurd's face twisted like a demon's. "Hajrudin, you'll witness the end of this war from the battlefield's edge!"
"Lava Punch!"
The fist struck Hajrudin's forehead, erupting with a searing orange-red glow. The impact, like a volcanic explosion, sent Hajrudin's massive body flying!
"BOOM!!!"
A shockwave rippled through the air as Hajrudin, at its epicenter, soared like a meteor across the battlefield toward its farthest edge!
"KABOOM!!!"
At West Village Harbor, foamy Sea Clouds surged skyward!
Gurd landed at the castle's base, watching the charging giants. His body expanded, transforming into a towering 20-meter-tall Groudon Form in the blink of an eye!
Against the giants, fighting in human form was impractical!
"ROOOAR!!!"
A visible sonic wave blasted outward!
"That's the enemy?!"
The giants braced against the shockwave, faces paling.
"Don't falter! Take him down!"
"For Elbaf!"
"OOOOH!!!"
The former Giant Warrior Pirates roared as they charged—in this era of peace, they were the last true warriors left!
"Die, monster!"
A giant leaped high, swinging his massive sword with all his might at Groudon's head—only for the blade to snap in two with a deafening "CRACK!"
Gurd swiped with his claws, sending the giant flying!
Though untested, his complete Groudon Form's defenses were undoubtedly on par with Big Mom's Iron Balloon. Even in human form, his physical strength rivaled his elder brother Kaido's. Compared to the Four Emperors, the only thing he lacked was Haki.
"ROOOAR!!!"
Gurd howled at the sky as rows of Cliff Swords erupted from the ground, blasting the charging giants into the air.
"Waaaaah!!!"
The giants were caught off guard, screaming as they were sent flying into the sky.
But it wasn't over yet.
Intense flames gathered in the creature's mouth!
"Super Fire Blast!"
A torrent of fire erupted, racing down the tree-trunk avenue to its end—an indiscriminate, massive area attack!
"BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!"
A chain of explosions erupted in a straight line, and towering flames surged upward!
Elbaf, built upon the great tree, had one critical weakness: fire. The raging inferno plunged the giants into utter panic.
"Put out the fire!"
"The men are all fighting the enemy!"
"We have to flee!"
With the enemy right before them, the remaining elderly, women, and children could do nothing to stop the flames and could only flee in terror toward the harbor.
Battlefield zone.
Amid the burning flames, giants lay one after another in pools of blood.
Groudon, far larger than any giant, advanced slowly toward the harbor, leaving only ruins in its wake.
More and more giants rushed to the scene.
"Stop this at once!!!"
One of them leaped high into the air, landing directly above Gurd. His fist, infused with Armament Haki, smashed down onto Gurd's head!
"Ogre Eradication Fist!"
"CRASH!"
Gurd's head dipped under the impact, his massive body staggering back two steps before he raised his gaze to the burly giant who had struck him.
"You seem strong!"
A solid attack—the sheer might of the giants combined with Haki had even made him feel a twinge of pain.
But only a twinge.
To deal meaningful damage to him in his complete Groudon Form, mere physical attacks weren't enough.
Internal destruction was the bare minimum!
The giant growled and moved again.
"Headmaster, cover me!"
"Saul, watch out for the spikes!"
The giant headmaster, resembling a walrus with enormous tusks, charged toward Gurd, swinging his massive hammer upward in an attempt to strike Gurd's chin.
Gurd stared coldly at him.
"BOOM!!!"
The hammer slammed into his chin, the tremendous force sending his head snapping back. Immediately, another giant rushed out from behind the walrus-like headmaster, driving his fist into Gurd's face.
"Did it work?"
The two giants widened their eyes.
Gurd pressed his face against the giant's fist, his mouth opening. Under the effects of the harsh sunlight, a dazzling light beam formed instantly!
"Solar Beam!"
"Oh no!"
Saul crossed his arms in horror to shield himself!
"BOOM!"
The scorching solar blast struck Saul, sending him flying until he crashed into the massive tree trunk!
"BOOM!!!"
A colossal fireball erupted, and the towering trunk collapsed!
"Saul!!!"
The giant warriors cried out in terror.
Saul, a former Marine Vice Admiral, was incredibly powerful—yet he had been instantly defeated by the enemy!
When they turned back to face their foe, they saw the walrus headmaster, who had attacked alongside Saul, now lying on the ground, his body wreathed in flames.
"Even Headmaster Kiba has fallen!"
One strong warrior after another had been taken down, filling the remaining giants with fear. But behind them was their homeland—there was no retreat left.
"Charge together!"
"Fight the monster with everything we've got!"
"Uwaaaaah!!!"
West Village, harbor.
"SLAM!"
A massive hand emerged from the Sea Cloud, gripping the shore tightly before the enormous body of a giant burst forth from the mist.
"Ooooh!!!"
Hajrudin collapsed onto the shore, struggling to roll over before sprawling on his back, gasping for breath in shock.
He nearly suffocated to death!
As soon as he regained some strength, Hajrudin quickly scrambled up and looked toward the village, his gaze gradually growing vacant.
Reflected in his pupils was a sea of flames!
