"As of today, the new Student Council President is…"

the former president began, standing behind the podium with an envelope in hand.

His voice was clear, but the tension in the hall was thick—every student's gaze locked on him.

He slowly opened the envelope, glanced at the paper, and then looked back up at the crowd.

"…Mei Kagami!" he announced, a wide smile spreading across his face as the audience gasped quietly—shocked, but impressed.

Mei walked up to the stage slowly, each step deliberate and full of confidence.

A self-assured smile lit up her face.

She stood behind the podium and raised her right hand.

The former president gently placed the presidential armband on her arm.

"Please give your speech," he said, stepping back.

In the silence that followed, Mei placed both palms on the podium—firmly, with purpose.

Her eyes scanned the students before her, and then…

She began to laugh.

At first, it was quiet, restrained, almost graceful.

But then it twisted—sharpened—turned feral and unhinged.

As if an entire year of self-restraint had finally shattered in that single moment.

"Fufufu… hahaha… HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"

Her DEMONIC LAUGHTER echoed through the hall—

the laugh of a girl who had just seized the throne.

The students stared at her—shocked, some even a little afraid.

But Mei didn't waste a second.

While her laughter still echoed across the hall, she spoke—loud and clear, with zero hesitation:

"This is a message to everyone attending this school…"

"I, Mei Kagami, will find the one who stole the diary!"

A wave of confusion rippled through the auditorium like a shockwave.

"What diary?"

"What is she even talking about?"

"Is this part of the speech???"

Whispers. Confused stares. Uneasy glances.

Only a few knew what she truly meant...

But Mei didn't turn around.

She wasn't looking for understanding.

She wasn't asking for applause.

She continued—ice-cold:

"I won because I AM the only dual-core user in this entire school. I mean, that's why you voted for me… right?"

Her voice was laced with unfiltered arrogance.

She might have been lying.

She wasn't actually the only dual-core user.

But on her candidate application, she did write it in MASSIVE capital letters.

She paused. Bowed deeply.

Her smile? Anything but friendly.

"Thank you."

Then she stepped off the stage, leaving behind a hall soaked in silent confusion.

No one knew whether to clap… or sit frozen.

But after a few awkward seconds, applause started.

Slow. Hesitant.

Then louder and louder—as if no one wanted to be the one person not clapping for Mei Kagami.

"Nice job, sis!" said Kai as they walked down the hallway toward her new office.

Mei opened the door and walked in, then dropped into the presidential chair like she was claiming a throne.

"Thanks," she said with a smug smile, lounging like an empress. "Where's Doggie?"

"Standing outside the door," he replied shortly.

"Perfect."

She stood up, ran her hands across the desk, and then swept all the papers onto the floor, as if clearing space for a war plan.

"The trap is officially set."

"The trap?" Kai blinked, confused.

"Yes, the trap."

Her voice was calm, but her eyes sparkled. "I'm expecting someone who knows about the diary to show up..."

She paused for a second, pressing a finger to her lips as she did some mental math.

"...Tomorrow."

"..."

"I provoked all of them on purpose so the guy would show up tomorrow. The dual-core detail was just extra insurance."

"When did you take off the 'mask'?" Kai asked, feeling a bit left out.

"Why? Jealous?" she smirked.

"Can I do it too?" he asked back.

"Not yet... I don't think it's time," Mei replied, and Kai made a disappointed face.

After a boring day at school, Kai and Mei were heading home…

Or at least, that's what they wanted.

As they walked, they suddenly felt a magical presence—not just any magic, but Active Magic, the kind only Elves and Demons could use.

In an instant, it knocked them unconscious, and they began to fall backward.

Into someone's arms…

They woke up several hours later in a dark, terrifying room.

They looked around, and then the lights flickered on.

The room should've felt less scary with all that light, but it was the complete opposite.

The place looked like a living nightmare. The walls, cold and damp, were covered with horrifying torture devices—stakes of various sizes scattered across the floor, while rusty chains hung from the ceiling, rattling gently with every shift of air. The metal reeked of old blood, and the corners hid the remains of someone's suffering. The door was slightly ajar, and two shadows stood still at the entrance, almost invisible in the chilling silence.

At first, the figures weren't recognizable…

But as they stepped inside—it became clear.

It was Vex and Lilith.

They entered the room and walked up to Kai and Mei.

"Hehehe~ Did you come for the party?" Lilith asked, wearing a massive smile.

Mei tried to stand up, but she couldn't move—she was tied to the chair.

"What is this!?" Kai shouted.

"We just wanted to have a little fun~" Lilith said, playing with Mei's hair.

Vex walked over to a table full of various bottles, grabbed a syringe, and filled it with some chemical.

"D-tubocurarine hydrochloride," Mei started in a trembling, scared voice. "A chemical used in medicine... to paralyze the body."

"Exactly. With the right dose, you'll be paralyzed for the next hour—but you'll feel absolutely EVERYTHING!" Lilith said with a grin.

Vex came up to Mei and injected the syringe into a vein in her arm.

Mei looked at her brother with tearful eyes, knowing what was about to happen if that chemical entered her body.

"Wait, wait, we can talk, please!" Kai begged them.

"It's too late!" Vex said as he pushed the chemical into Mei's vein.

D-tubocurarine.

A neuromuscular blocker.

LIVING HELL

This chemical wasn't made to hurt. It was made to steal—to steal the body, the ability to move. To leave your mind intact, trapped inside a powerless shell.

"In thirty seconds… I'll lose control of my limbs. Breathing will become shallow. Blinking will stop. But the brain… the brain will stay awake. I'll feel EVERYTHING!"

The countdown had already begun. She tried to move her fingers. Left index finger. Nothing.

"9, 10, 11—" she counted silently.

Legs—dead. Arms—nothing. Her muscles turned into empty pieces of meat. She wanted to scream, to say something… but her jaw wouldn't move anymore. Her lips stayed sealed. Tongue—heavy as stone.

"16, 17, 18, 19—" she kept counting inside her head.

She gathered all her strength to turn her head toward Kai.

His face was scrunched up, eyes full of tears.

"24, 25, 26, 27—" counting went on.

Breathing… was still there. Shallow. Surface level. But it was there.

For now.

"If the dose passes the limit, I'll suffocate—but they want me alive… They want to torture me."

Sweat dripped down her forehead. Her heart pounded like it was trying to escape her chest. She could hear it—thump, thump, thump—but she couldn't feel a single beat inside her ribs. Like her body wasn't hers anymore.

Her eyes were wide open. She couldn't close them. Tears gathered, burning her corneas. No blinking.

Just watching.

"28, 29, 30. I can't… I can't move anything anymore… Just watch this movie, think, and feel the pain… My eyes hurt..."

Tears streamed down Kai's face as he looked at his sister—she looked like she was dead, motionless, but her eyes were wide open.

"BUAHAHAHA—!"

Their laughter exploded from their throats, raw and uncontrollable, as they doubled over in pain coming from their stomachs. Vex grabbed his cheeks, pulling them down like he was trying to rip them off, his eyes on the verge of popping out from the force of the laughter.

"Stop… stop… I'm gonna die! AHAHA!"

Lilith dropped to her knees, covering her face with her hands, pulling the skin under her eyes as if trying to gouge them out herself.

They were overwhelmed by their own twisted joy.

Lilith grabbed a small bottle with a clear liquid. Her uncontrollable grinning filled the room as she slowly approached Mei, who sat motionless, tied to the chair.

With a theatrical flick of her wrist, Lilith tilted the bottle above Mei's face—several drops gently slid down the glass and right into her eyes.

At that moment, Lilith's laughter ceased. She looked at Mei with a surprisingly gentle smile.

"I don't want you to miss a single moment…" she whispered. "Your eyes are really cute. It'd be a shame if something happened to them, wouldn't it?"

"LEAVE HER ALONE!!!" Kai shouted, panic flooding his eyes. His voice echoed, but they ignored him.

Vex then stepped forward, tightened a strap around Mei's neck to fix her head in place, preventing any twitch… then slowly moved her onto the table.

"Can I…?" Vex asked, voice full of anticipation.

Lilith smiled and nodded as she slowly turned Kai's chair toward the table.

"She's all yours," she said coldly, almost theatrically.

"And you… enjoy the show."

Kai jerked, his eyes wide open. "No... stop!" he yelled, trying to get out of his bound position. "Stop it, please! I'll do anything!"

Vex walked over to Mei and grabbed the hem of her shirt. His movement was slow but determined, he began to take it off. Mei shivered, her head was bowed and her eyes were empty.

Kai felt his stomach turn. His heart was pounding like it was going to explode.

"STOP IT!" he roared, his voice cracking with desperation.

When Mei was completely naked, Vex stopped for a moment, took a good look from head to toe, and made a face of disgust.

"I thought she would be a virgin…"

Then everything came together for Kai, he remembered what happened 8 years ago.

Even though he was only seven years old, Kai remembered that moment perfectly—the moment he first wished he didn't have eyes.

It was just another Sunday. The sun poured golden light over their little summer house by the sea, and the air smelled like pine and ice cream.

They were just kids—happy, silly, carefree. They were playing hide and seek. Mei was counting out loud with a smile, and Kai was quietly running around, looking for the perfect hiding spot.

He chose the one he always loved—the wardrobe in their shared room.

It was the only one that didn't creak, making it the perfect hiding place.

He quietly opened the door and slipped inside, careful not to make a sound. He closed it slowly, leaving just a small gap—enough to peek out and see what was happening outside...

After a few minutes of silence, the room door opened slowly.

Mei peeked inside to check if Kai had maybe snuck in to hide there.

Kai's heart pounded hard, wild, like it was going to leap out of his chest. That childlike thrill filled him—a mix of excitement and fear.

That sweet adrenaline you feel when you're just about to get caught.

But he didn't know the game was about to turn into something else.

Something not funny.

Not innocent.

Mei started searching—looked under the bed, lifted the blanket, tossed the pillows, but...

Then… new footsteps echoed.

They weren't Mei's.

They weren't light or confident.

They were... unsteady. Heavy. Like someone walking with legs that didn't quite listen.

Their father walked into the room.

He was the only adult in the summer house. He was supposed to take care of them.

He came in with a bottle of beer in his hand... He was drunk.

Mei turned as soon as she heard footsteps. "Hi, Dad!" she said cheerfully, but that smile quickly faded. There was no answer. Just a glassy look and an unsteady step.

He didn't recognize her. In his eyes, she was no longer his daughter.

Then he pushed her onto the bed.

He tore off her shirt.

"Dad…" Mei began, her voice shaking, terrified.

Kai, holding his breath, observed everything from the darkness of the closet. His heart was pounding in his chest, but his body was unresponsive. He was frozen.

Mei's screams were disgusting.

Her cries for help.

Her PAIN

Kai was watching. Tears were softly rolling down his cheeks, and his hands were trembling in his lap. He wanted to get out, to save her, but his body wouldn't listen to him. He was paralyzed—with a fear that children should not know.

Mei lay beneath him, huddled, in shock. They stayed like that for several minutes—he, unconscious, and she, broken.

In the end, she quietly slipped her small body out from under his and, without a word, walked to the bathroom.

She didn't cry.

She didn't scream.

She just walked.

And yet, when she came back, she continued the game.

She kept smiling.

Kept pretending nothing had happened.

Just so she wouldn't scare Kai.

The next day, neither of them said a single word about it.

But later that afternoon, as they sat side by side, Mei spoke to him.

"Bro… can I ask you something?" she began.

"Save yourself for me... I want to be your first," she said in a possessive tone.

Kai made a confused face. "What does that mean?" he asked.

"You're too little to understand, but don't worry—you'll get it in a few years," his sister smiled.

He nodded and smiled back, simple and innocent—just like only a little brother could.

Present.

"I don't mind. The hole is goal, it doesn't matter how small or big it is," Vex said before starting to undo his fly, eyes full of twisted pleasure.

"I need to think fast...* Kai thought to himself as he quickly scanned the room. He turned his head behind him and saw exactly what he needed—acid.

A small vial with green liquid sat on the shelf behind him.

Suddenly, he shoved the chair back.

He slammed into the wall and fell to the floor along with the chair. The whole wall shook just enough for the small vial to fall onto his back.

The vial shattered on him, and the acid spilled over his back, eating through his clothes, his skin, and the ropes.

"AHHH!" he screamed in intense pain and tore the ropes apart.

"STOP!"

Vex and Lilith stared at him in shock. Kai's abs, carved like they were sculpted, gleamed under the dim, flickering light of the room.

"Just as I thought... you don't have a plan B, huh?" he asked coldly.

He didn't give them a moment to answer.

In the next second, he charged at them. His body was just a blurred shadow in motion.

Lilith felt the hit first—a brutal kick to the stomach that threw her back, slamming her onto the floor.

Vex managed to retaliate. His fist hit Kai right in the cheek... but Kai barely moved. He just looked at him—eyes without a trace of fear.

A look that said: "Is that all?"

"Come on. Try again," he muttered, icy cold.

Another hit. Same result.

Kai smiled.

"No one touches my sister!" he said before kneeing Vex in the stomach, knocking the air out of him.

Lilith got up, standing next to Vex. They looked at each other for a moment... and smiled. Sweet, almost childlike smiles. A facade of innocence.

But it all vanished when Vex suddenly shoved Lilith toward Kai… and ran away.

Kai caught Lilith and threw her on the floor with a creepy smile. The same DEMONIC smile his sister had.

"Do you wanna be my toy?" he asked.

Lilith looked at him pale, her eyes trembling as she tried to stay calm.

"I need a sedative," he continued, leaning closer. "For my sister."

"On... the table... red vaccine," she stammered, barely audible.

Kai grabbed her and brought the red vaccine close to her vein to try it on her. "Then let's try…"

"Wait! That's poison!" Lilith shouted, trying to save her life.

Kai threw the vaccine aside, grabbed her by the neck, and started choking her. "Give me the real one!"

Lilith struggled for air but managed to stammer: "Blue… vaccine…"

Without a word, Kai grabbed the blue vaccine and knelt beside Mei. He pushed the needle in and injected the liquid into her vein.

His gaze softened.

"Sorry sis... I won't be able to keep my promise. Don't get me wrong but... you're my sister and there's no way I'm going to have sex with my sister."

He stroked her hair, gently, quietly.

"Sleep well. I'll get you dressed later…"

Then he turned to Lilith. His smile was back, scarier than ever.

"And now… your turn."

Lilith's face suddenly twisted into a grimace of pure horror. Her eyes, usually cold and calculating, were now wide open, filled with panic and undisguised fear.

"Vex..." she whispered quietly.
