The atmosphere at the Community Guild was lively as we gathered for lunch, everyone in high spirits while waiting for Damon to arrive with Maya. I couldn't help but observe how interesting Damon's family dynamics were.
Lana, Damon's sister, reminded me so much of Maya—both radiated that contagious warmth that drew people in effortlessly. It made perfect sense why they connected so quickly. My sister had always possessed that magnetic personality, approaching life with enthusiasm and genuine warmth. Raymond, on the other hand, carried himself with a composed seriousness, yet he wasn't rigid like Damon could sometimes be. He seemed to understand the delicate balance required in both business and personal relationships.
