Cole's POV
Three days had passed since Ophelia and I returned to the city, and I still hadn't made it to the storage facility to examine what Tiffany had left behind. Finding time for this task proved challenging, primarily because my father was consumed with his impending divorce. The hearing date had been set, and Claire had shown up at my office creating quite the spectacle when security denied her entry per my instructions. I'd convinced Dad to stay with me temporarily rather than retreating to the farm, at least until he finalized things with Claire.
Work wasn't getting my full attention either. My mind constantly drifted to our ongoing investigation, and worry about my sister gnawed at me relentlessly.
"Time to take Claudia's advice and just make it happen," I muttered, deciding today was the day to check out the mysterious storage unit.
