Stella's POV
I couldn't bring myself to join the girls at Hazel's place. My mood was so low that I just made up an excuse about having a terrible headache. I didn't want to be a dark cloud over their gathering, especially with Hazel being pregnant and needing positive energy around her.
So here I was, alone in my apartment with a pizza and a book that I couldn't focus on. The weekend with my mom and Sebastian had been wonderful, and seeing Warren again was refreshing. Just as thoughts of Warren drifted through my mind, my phone rang, bringing a small smile to my face.
"You just can't stay away from me," I answered playfully.
"Auntie, my beautiful! I really can't. I like you so much and I miss you," Atlas replied in his characteristic whiny voice that always made me smile. "Besides, you still owe me that trip to Roadmaster, remember?"
"The vintage car diner? Dean't tell me you haven't been there yet," I said, vaguely recalling our plans.
