Adrian's POV
I wanted to tear Damian's head off for dragging me away from Stella. But his revelation explained why she had been giving me the cold shoulder all evening.
"Adrian, Stella knows," Damian said the moment we entered Liam's library.
"Knows what?" I asked, completely lost.
"About yesterday. Your meeting with Penelope at the Community Guild," Damian clarified.
I frowned. "What are you talking about?" I had already mentioned the Penelope situation to the guys when I arrived at Damian's place for poker night.
"It was a setup, man. Penelope orchestrated the whole thing, and you walked right into it. Emily snapped a photo of Penelope hanging all over you and sent it straight to Stella," Damian explained, and suddenly everything clicked into place.
"How did you find out?" I asked, my fists clenching.
