Stella's POV
Joy's sobs gradually subsided as Vaughn held her protectively, refusing to let go since the moment we found her. The concern etched across his face spoke volumes about how deeply this incident had affected him.
"Are you feeling better now? Can you tell us what happened?" Vaughn asked softly, his voice gentle as Joy's tears finally stopped.
She took a shaky breath. "I was coming back from the restroom when Atlas's grandfather cornered me. Atlas had warned both me and my sister to stay away from him, saying he was dangerous." Her voice trembled slightly. "He grabbed me forcefully, covered my mouth, and dragged me out through the back entrance. I couldn't break free no matter how hard I tried."
"That absolute monster!" I exclaimed, fury coursing through me. "He won't get away with this."
