Adrian's POV
During our voyage to the marina, we messaged our friends to inform them we'd be out at sea until Monday. Not surprisingly, none of them were thrilled about waiting for updates, particularly Chl, but I needed this private time to reconnect with my goddess.
I temporarily pushed aside thoughts about my mother, resolving to address that situation later, though I definitely intended to discover what was happening between her and that doctor. For now, I was simply basking in the happiness of being with the woman I adored.
"Adrian, I texted Atlas. He's dying to know if everything worked out," Stella said, interrupting my thoughts.
I smiled. "That kid lives for gossip. He's probably already spreading the news to everyone." My nephew talked too much, but he was still a wonderful kid.
