Maya's apartment was a perfect reflection of her essence - delicate and feminine, yet practical and well-organized. Everything about the space spoke of comfort and coziness, arranged with meticulous care. Standing in the middle of her living room, I couldn't shake the feeling that I was out of place, like an oversized sculpture in a miniature garden.
"Please, make yourself comfortable. Would you like something to drink?" Her voice carried a newfound confidence here in her own domain.
"No need, little one. Come here." I reached for her hand, gently pulling her to sit beside me on the sofa.
