Adrian guided me into the house, and I stood frozen in awe. The spacious interior took my breath away—not because of any furniture, but because the entire place was transformed into a romantic paradise. Countless red roses filled every corner, candle-shaped lights cast a warm glow throughout the space, and heart-shaped balloons floated gracefully on the ceiling.
The living room's center featured plush light-colored carpets surrounded by vibrant cushions of various sizes. A small table held strawberries, chocolates, and wine chilling in an ice bucket. Adrian was recreating one of our most memorable nights together, but he'd elevated the gesture to something extraordinary.
"Who owns this place?" I asked, still taking in the breathtaking scene around me.
"We do," Adrian replied, stepping closer.
"I don't think I follow," I said, my mind struggling to process what he meant.
