Maya's POV
I unbuttoned his shirt with deliberate slowness, savoring each moment as my fingers worked their way down. One by one, each button released under my touch until his shirt hung open completely. Shifting slightly on his lap, I pulled at the fabric, parting it wide to reveal what lay beneath. The sight of his bare chest made my breath catch—perfectly sculpted, with defined muscles that begged to be touched.
My palm hesitantly pressed against his warm skin, trailing downward over the contours of his chest to the chiseled six-pack of his abdomen. Each muscle felt firm beneath my fingertips, his body a testament to disciplined care.
Damon's breathing quickened noticeably as I explored him. When I returned my hand to his chest, he captured it with his own and guided it directly over his heart. The powerful rhythm pulsed against my palm.
"Can you feel that, little one? Can you feel my heart beating for you?" His voice deepened with longing, eyes locked intensely on mine.
