Stella's POV
Adrian hauled me over his shoulder like a fireman, marching toward the car with purpose and determination. I couldn't contain my giggles as he carried me away from our wedding celebration. After weeks of anxiety and threats looming over us, it felt incredible to simply laugh at my husband's playful antics.
Our wedding guests trailed behind, whooping and applauding Adrian's caveman display as he approached our getaway vehicle. When he finally set me down, I erupted in laughter at the sight before me. The car was decorated in classic newlywed style – a bold "Just Married" sign adorned the back, accompanied by dozens of tin cans tied with string that would clatter noisily throughout our journey. The entire vehicle was wrapped in delicate white tulle, topped with an elaborate baby's breath arrangement that crowned the roof like a fluffy cloud.
