Adrian's POV
I was at my breaking point. Stella had endured a terrifying encounter yesterday, all because she momentarily left her security guard outside the store. Patterson had gone too far, and I was determined to make him pay.
Damon suggested that Stella should file a police complaint when I called him, but she was deeply traumatized. Despite barely sleeping, she insisted on going to work today, which only intensified my concern.
I arrived at the office in a foul mood. Dealing with Patterson, this persistent thorn in my side, was my priority. He had dared to put his hands on Stella again, and I wouldn't let him get away with it this time.
My mind was consumed with thoughts of Stella. The stress and worry became overwhelming. Without hesitation, I grabbed my jacket and left the office.
When I reached the garage and approached my car, I was stunned by the audacity of the person waiting for me. She was dressed in an obscenely short and tasteless outfit.
