Adrian's POV
"Uncle, don't you think this might be a little excessive?" Atlas questioned, watching me spread the final handful of crimson rose petals across my living room carpet.
"Not even close," I answered with satisfaction, surveying my apartment transformed into a romantic paradise. Copper petals carpeted every surface, elaborate floral arrangements adorned each corner, and heart-shaped balloons bobbed against the ceiling.
The rose trail wound through the entire space, leading a romantic path straight to my bedroom, where I had lavished equal attention on the bed and even the bathroom with silky petals.
"Whatever you say, but I'm pretty sure you bought out every flower shop in the city," Atlas observed, his gaze sweeping the decorated room. "Same goes for those heart balloons."
"Don't be ridiculous," I shot back. "I placed special orders weeks ahead of time."
