"Behold the true power of the Uchiha."
"Susanoo!"
What rose before them was not a skeletal form a few meters high, nor a half-complete titan stretching a few dozen meters. No—this was the Perfect Susanoo, towering over one hundred meters tall.
In this world, the tomoe in Sasuke's eyes were not ordinary Sharingan—they were the Eyes of Indra.
Before this, even Itachi's Susanoo looked no more than an infant.
"Farewell, my foolish brother."
With those words, Sasuke controlled his Perfect Susanoo to swing mercilessly toward Itachi and the other Konoha shinobi.
One strike. Just a single strike.
The very earth was split apart as if torn in two. Itachi and the Konoha shinobi were annihilated, not even ashes remaining.
At that moment, a man clad in black robes and a dark cloak appeared, standing atop the shoulder of the colossal Susanoo.
As if expecting him, Sasuke muttered quietly, "You're late."
"Only because I had to retrieve this." The man pulled a bloodstained scroll from his robes, tucked it back, and lifted his hood.
The face revealed was identical to Naruto's—but his gaze brimmed with malice and madness. The six whisker-like markings on his cheeks were darker, deeper. Most striking of all, his hair was not golden, but pure black.
With a casual sweep of his arm, nine strange beast-like figures appeared behind him, each wearing a mask.
The ancient technique: Nine-Faced Beast.
But he should not be called Naruto. His name was not taken from Jiraiya's novel.
He was Uzumaki Menma.
"Hurry it up, Menma." Sasuke's face twisted in annoyance. "I'm getting tired."
"I know." Menma's voice was low and cold. He slowly raised his right hand, and a black sphere formed in his palm.
This was highly compressed chakra—Menma's proudest creation.
"Great Spiral Wheel Annihilation!"
With chilling calm, Uzumaki Menma looked down at Konoha. He lightly tossed the sphere downward.
A towering mushroom cloud erupted.
The world fell silent.
Konoha was destroyed—once again.
In yet another timeline—within the Uchiha clan compound, at the Naka Shrine.
A man whose very face declared invincibility opened the hidden chamber beneath the shrine and walked slowly inside.
This man was the legendary Uchiha Madara.
He looked no older than his twenties, clad in his iconic crimson armor.
Reaching the innermost chamber, he stopped before a massive stone tablet, the sacred heirloom of the Uchiha clan. It was said to record the teachings of the Sage of Six Paths himself.
As his Sharingan spun, lines of hidden script revealed themselves upon the stone.
The tablet could only be read with ocular power—the stronger the eyes, the more truth was revealed.
Madara's Sharingan shifted, blossoming into the form of the Mangekyō.
Carefully, he read every inscription. When finished, he slowly closed his eyes, as though digesting the revelations.
Opening them again, his gaze was dazed.
"The Eye of the Moon Plan…?"
But the daze quickly gave way to disdain.
"Peace born of false illusion? I, Uchiha Madara, have no need of such drivel."
"And besides… someone has tampered with the Sage's tablet."
"Come out, coward."
With a single stomp, chakra pulsed from Madara's feet, flooding into the earth below.
A shadow shot upward, attempting to flee.
"Hmph. Such petty tricks, and you dare flaunt them before me?"
Madara simply extended his right hand. A strange, irresistible suction force pulled the shadow toward him.
His fingers closed around its throat.
"It was you who led me here all along."
"Even Hashirama could not match me. And you—just a hybrid of Yin–Yang Release?"
"Whatever scheme you have, deceiving me only leads to death."
Madara gave no chance to answer. Blue-black flames ignited in his palm. The shadow—Black Zetsu, the will of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki herself—screamed in agony, its form withering.
Madara's grip tightened.
"Begone."
And in an instant, Black Zetsu was destroyed.
The same being that, in the original timeline, could not be killed even by the Sage's power granted to Naruto and Sasuke—only sealed away—was annihilated in a single move.
Naruto's shadow clone slowly opened its eyes.
What lay before him was not the ruins of Loulan, but a dense forest.
Where is this? Did the time-travel succeed?
Uncertain of his surroundings, the clone reasoned:
First, I need to figure out whether this is the Dragon Ball world or the Naruto world.
If it's Dragon Ball—and the later era at that—I might as well just dispel myself and return.
He shut his eyes, sensing his surroundings.
Tch. My sensory ability isn't as strong as the original's. Guess I'll have to do this the hard way.
Moments later, his eyes opened slowly, strangely.
The life energy around here is weak. And… I sense chakra. That means it's still the Naruto world.
And a lot of it. Dense, everywhere. A battle? A war between shinobi?
The First Great War? The Second? The Third? Surely not the Fourth…?
Suppressing his own aura to the bare minimum to avoid detection, the clone advanced using pure physical power. Even so, his speed was immense.
Meanwhile, deeper within the forest—
A squad of Kirigakure shinobi, masked and armed, was pursuing a young girl.
No—more than pursuit, it was like cats toying with a mouse. They deliberately kept distance, subtly herding her along a path.
Rain began to fall.
And Nohara Rin's heart sank heavier with each drop.
Because of a single mistake, she had been captured.
The Mist-nin had not killed her. Instead, they sealed the Three-Tails within her. But the seal was crude, designed to be controlled at will. Worse, a cursed mark had been placed upon her very heart.
She knew their goal: to send her back into the Konoha ranks.
The moment she returned… the Three-Tails would go berserk.
That moment would become Kirigakure's war signal against Konoha.
Her cursed body could not resist. She couldn't even take her own life. All she could do was watch herself march unwillingly toward Konoha.
God… please. Stop me before I reach the village. Anyone—just stop me…
As Rin prayed, a familiar figure appeared before her eyes.
Kakashi!
She thought this encounter in the forest was fate.
But she did not know… all of it had been orchestrated by an old man lurking in the shadows, already with one foot in the grave.
And at the very moment she saw Kakashi—
Another youth, bound to her by deep ties, stepped into the forest as well.
