Three weeks later—
Sasuke was still deep in training within Ryūchidō, but Naruto had already said his goodbyes to the White Snake Sage.
After Naruto left, the White Snake Sage sat slumped on her throne, staring blankly into space, doubting reality itself.
In all her thousands of years of life, she had never encountered something—or someone—like him.
Forgive her limited vocabulary… but even after living so long, she genuinely couldn't think of words strong enough to describe what she had just witnessed.
Naruto had managed to gather Natural Energy in his palm without any adverse effects, and within just two weeks, he developed a power that surpassed even standard Sage Mode.
That's right: Naruto had not mastered Senjutsu during his stay. He planned to resume that path only after meeting Kakarot again, under his guidance.
Still, he didn't leave empty-handed. Drawing upon the principles explained by the White Snake Sage and taking inspiration from the Lightning Armor Technique of the Raikage…
He created a special transformation—a power that existed between standard chakra control and full Sage Mode.
He named it:
"Yang Release: Chakra Mode!"
A golden light enveloped his body.
In an instant, Naruto's figure expanded—his height shooting up to nearly two meters, transforming him into a golden, muscle-bound giant.
His already athletic frame bulked up explosively. Muscle density reached freakish levels, every part of his body bulging with definition. In the sunlight, his taut skin glistened with a radiant sheen, as if oiled.
With just a slight flex, the twin slabs of muscle on his chest—his massive pectorals—began to bounce rhythmically, each movement strangely hypnotic.
In that moment, Naruto was no longer the boy from Konoha.
He had become—
The Great Muscle Overlord: Naruto.
The White Snake Sage, pipe hanging loosely from her lips, stared up at the ceiling in dazed silence.
Even now, she still couldn't unsee that eye-searing transformation.
She couldn't help but ask herself:
"What exactly did I just teach…?"
Inside the sealed space—
"Whoa! He looks just like Master Roshi when he goes all out!"Little Goku pointed excitedly at Naruto's transformation.
Master Roshi's full power state also involved a hulking muscle form—it was in that state that he once pushed back the moon. In this mode, his combat power spiked dramatically.
"Hahahaha! You brat—this technique's amazing!"
Kurama laughed with uncontained joy as the same golden light wrapped around his massive body.
Before long, the once slightly chunky Nine-Tails had disappeared, replaced by a gleaming, muscle-bound fox of gold.
Back when Minato used the Dead Demon Seal, he split Kurama's chakra into two halves—Yin and Yang. The Yin half was sealed within himself and vanished with the seal, while the half inside Naruto was the Yang portion.
That meant this Kurama was already Yang-natured by default—so mastering this "Yang Release: Chakra Mode" came effortlessly.
The newly transformed Kurama was now a hulking beast of pure muscle. Even his nine massive tails had changed, each segmented and rippling with power.
He too had become—
The Great Muscle Overlord: Kurama.
"I FEEL THE POWER—I'M UNSTOPPABLE!!"
Kurama roared with glee, flexing excitedly. His enormous pecs quivered with every movement.
Then, locking eyes with Goku, Kurama issued his first-ever challenge:
"Hey, monkey brat! Fight me!"
He raised his mountainous fists, eyes burning with anticipation.
"This time… I'll settle the score!"
"You're on!"
"Take THIS—Hell Roll!"
Konoha.
That day, the Kurama Clan received a most unexpected visitor.
"Hattori-san."
The clan head of the Kurama greeted a middle-aged man in traditional kimono with a respectful tone. The man's appearance was refined and pleasant—his demeanor humble, yet commanding.
Hattori was a mysterious figure in Konoha. Though not officially a village citizen, he was often seen visiting the noble clans.
The Kurama clan head only knew him as the president of one of the most successful maritime corporations—but nothing beyond that.
Rumor had it that he had close ties with the Third Hokage.
"To what do we owe the honor of your visit today, sir?"
Truthfully, a figure of Hattori's stature had no reason to ever visit the declining Kurama clan.
Once famed for their genjutsu prowess, the Kurama clan had fallen into obscurity since the First Great Ninja War.
Their genjutsu was powerful, yes—but their physical constitutions were fragile.
That weakness was fatal.
You didn't need to master taijutsu to be a ninja… but you did need to be able to escape or protect yourself.
The Kurama clan had terrible mobility and almost no defensive capability.
Once their genjutsu was broken… they were sitting ducks.
Worse yet, their bloodline limit was rarer and harder to awaken than even the Three Tomoe Sharingan.
Now, only a few members of the Kurama clan remained—and none of them were particularly strong.
"I've heard that the Kurama clan has a girl named Yakumo Kurama," Hattori said with a warm smile that radiated sincerity and made people instinctively like him.
But the moment he said that name, the clan leader broke into a cold sweat—as if recalling a deep, primal fear.
"Yakumo Kurama" was a forbidden name in their clan.
She was the only living member to awaken the Kurama bloodline limit.
A genjutsu so powerful it could control all five senses, even manifest illusions into physical reality.
Not even the Uchiha's Sharingan could do that.
But Yakumo's mental state was highly unstable.
Within her, a dark alternate personality had emerged—Ido.
In other words, she was a schizophrenic—and one with the power to bend reality itself.
A mentally unstable girl who could control other people's senses… it was no wonder she had become the clan's deepest taboo.
"Where did you hear that name?" the clan head asked cautiously, avoiding a direct response.
"You ask too many questions."
Before Hattori could respond, a large man behind him stepped forward—it was clearly his bodyguard.
"You just need to take us to her. That's all."
"Gen (OC)! How can you speak that way to a clan leader?!"
Hattori scolded the man, his tone gentle, but his eyes still smiling—like nothing had happened.
"My apologies, Hattori-sama. I spoke out of turn."
The clan leader steadied himself and nodded, still uneasy under Hattori's warm but unreadable gaze.
"If you insist on meeting her… then please, follow me."
"But be warned—she's no ordinary girl. She's extremely dangerous."
The warnings were clear.
But Hattori acted as if he didn't hear a word.
Realizing there was no stopping him, the clan leader added,
"If you find yourself in danger… protect yourself above all else."
"Don't worry, Kurama-sama. We're here to solve the problem."
With that, Hattori followed the clan head toward a secluded, oddly designed building on the compound.
Shortly after they left, several ANBU Root operatives appeared at the gate of the Kurama residence.
"This is a Root operation. Clear the area—no unauthorized personnel allowed."
Meanwhile, in Konoha Prison—
A large cell door creaked open.
A guard shouted inside:
"Wind God! Thunder God! Someone's here for you. Get out here!"
"We're not going anywhere, bro. Free food and drinks? This place is heaven,"
Said a hulking man with a tiny ponytail and comically small eyes full of 'wisdom'.
Another man, nearly identical but with a goatee, nodded in agreement.
"Exactly, little bro. Why would we leave paradise?"
"Trying to trick the Wind and Thunder Gods into leaving? No chance!" x2
At that moment, the two dim-witted brothers congratulated each other on their cunning.
The Dynamic Dumb Duo of Konoha Prison: Wind God and Thunder God.
"…The guy said he'd take you out for barbecue. If you don't want to go, I'll just tell him no."
"WE'RE COMING!" x2
In perfect unison, the brothers shot out of the cell like rockets.
