Chapter 55 - Feel the Pain

"What?" The elder stared at Naruto like he'd gone mad.

But Naruto ignored him, speaking to Karin instead.

"Watch carefully. This is the jutsu that suits our Uzumaki clan best."

"—Puff!"

A burst of white smoke—and another Naruto appeared.

"Shadow Clone?" The elder was certain now: Naruto must be insane. He planned to use clones to fight them? What a ridiculous idea—something so fragile could be destroyed with a touch. And the devastating beam earlier? Definitely a secret technique with limitations, not a bloodline. If it wasn't for the elder almost being tricked, he'd have thought Naruto was formidable.

The elder's confidence surged. If I win this, I'll become the new head of Kusagakure.

The clone crossed his arms in front of him, forming an "X."

"—Puff! Puff! Puff!" One clone after another appeared in a white cloud, soon blanketing half the street. There were easily over a hundred Narutos.

Clones of clones? So what.

The elder mused, unimpressed. "They're just shadow clones."

"Tear them to shreds!" he ordered, deploying Kusagakure's elite shinobi—ready to crush the clones.

The confrontation began: Kusagakure shinobi vs. Naruto's army.

But the elder's hopes were dashed in an instant. As lightning-fast fists struck, nightmare began—steel gloves shattered, arms were severed, and pain screamed through flesh. One after another, elite shinobi died in brutal seconds—jutsu users never even managed to cast their spells. Genjutsu users fell even faster.

The clones merely squeezed necks till vertebrae crumbled, leaving still heads. As expected, it was a massacre—the overwhelming numbers and skill of the clones crushed Kusagakure without mercy. Five clones dissipated—not because of the shinobi, but because there weren't enough enemies. Some clones even fought each other, extending the carnage.

Had time permitted, a single clone could've wiped them all—but Naruto summoned over a hundred.

The elder collapsed amid bodies and gore. One man becomes an army… he thought, trembling. What terrifying power the Uzumaki possess. What did Kusagakure provoke?

To the elder, Naruto's army was demonic. To Karin, they were glorious heroes descending on golden clouds to rescue her.

"Anyone else?" Naruto's voice echoed coldly, but no one answered.

He turned to the slumped elder. I liked the way you once carried yourself—maybe you should get back to that, Naruto thought.

"Looks like you've been abandoned," Naruto observed softly. A mocking laugh followed.

All Kusagakure killed? Impossible. Naruto wondered if survivors were hiding or planning a deadly ambush.

"I despise ugly villages, and uglier people." Memories of how Kusagakure treated Karin and her mother filled his mind: torture, oppression, brutality—deserving nothing less than destruction.

They didn't stop criminal acts—they cheered them on.

Once, Karin was almost raped at six—and those attackers were among the dead.

They're vermin, parasites feeding off the weak, stinking of cruelty, enough to disgust me from afar.

"I don't play games of cat and mouse. If they won't face me…"

Naruto gently lifted Karin, cradling her. Sparking a red-black orb on his finger, crimson and ominous, glowing with dangerous intensity.

It started small, like a marble—but in seconds it grew till basketball-sized, blooming with power.

The elder's gut knotted—What is that?

"Not jutsu. Not secret. Not bloodline."

It's not chakra.

Naruto's voice was calm: "I won't hold back anymore…"

The orb pulsed through the street as he spoke:

"You gave me all that malice—now feel mine."
