Just as Lin Xuan was preparing to continue his cultivation by listening to the Wind Chime, the sound suddenly stopped.
Lin Xuan opened his eyes and asked, "Ninth Elder, why did you stop?"
The Ninth Elder smiled, put away the Wind Chime, and said, "You've been contemplating for long enough. It's time to stretch your legs. Next, we will be activating an Array. You will enter it and battle the Demon Beasts inside."
With that, the Ninth Elder led Lin Xuan and the others away. They eventually arrived at a staircase where the Grand Elder, Third Elder, Sixth Elder, and others were already present.
The Grand Elder announced, "On the second level, there is an Array. Go inside and hunt the Demon Beasts. It will be a test of your recent cultivation."
And so, Lin Xuan and the others entered one after another.
