"I heard a bit about this," a bearded man across from him said, "It's said he got himself into trouble by saving a woman, causing his power to drop."
"Hey, do you think the Hunter will come this time?"
Upon hearing this, the highly ranked Dark List Experts became excited. If the Hunter really came, they could kill him while his power was at its lowest.
Then their own rankings, reputations, and rewards would all rise accordingly. As experts ranked within the top fifty, they were well aware: the industry no longer relied on strength, but rather on fame.
