The type of monsters in the Ruined Town is very singular, there's only the Walking Dead.
These Walking Dead have no intellect; they just wander aimlessly throughout the Secret Realm, and whenever they encounter living beings, they immediately pounce to tear into them, or merely follow along with other Walking Dead.
Thus, sometimes you might encounter situations where many Walking Dead congregate, and facing such circumstances usually requires spending a lot of time waiting for the group of corpses to disperse.
Charging forward recklessly, triggering a corpse tide, is no laughing matter.
That's where the difficulty lies in the 'Ruined Town'.
Overall, in terms of mere area size, this Secret Realm can't compare with the 'Black Stone Mine', but sometimes the entire challenge process can be ridiculously lengthy.
This is solely because the corpse herd takes forever to scatter, and Professionals have no way to disperse the corpse group, so they can only waste time.
