The body of the Blood Demon Commander flew backward like a kite with a broken string, crashing heavily into a distant stone wall that instantly collapsed amidst a cloud of dust.
David stood his ground, breathing slightly heavily, but his gaze remained sharp, fixed on the Blood Demon Commander within the swirling dust.
Alia quickly ran to David's side and asked with concern, "David, are you okay?"
David shook his head, still keeping his gaze forward, "I'm fine, but he hasn't fallen yet."
Sure enough, a low laugh came from within the dust, as the Blood Demon Commander slowly rose from the ruins.
His chest was caved in, clearly severely injured, but his eyes still glowed with a blood-red light.
"I didn't expect... your power to be so formidable."
The Blood Demon Commander's voice was tinged with a chilling coldness, "But, did you think this would defeat me?"
David looked at him coldly.
