"Your Majesty the Demon Emperor, our race suffered severe injuries a year ago. Now it's hard to recover some vitality. Please don't continue this internal slaughter. Spare my life. A demigod is too important for the current Demon Race!"
If it were outside, Gutts had ways to escape from the axe blade, albeit at a painful cost. But trapped inside the Demon Emperor Palace, sealed by the Palace Protection Array, he could do nothing despite his myriad of tricks.
