Chapter 11 - Chapter 11: Yuna’s Doggy Nose

Lynn took out a bottle of bright red from the spatial ring, then crouched down and lifted the head of the Demon Race woman to pour the potion into her.

Seeing Lynn's rough method, the neighbor grandma shook her head. However, she was just an old lady, how could she possibly stop the young and strong Lynn? Besides, this was his home; if he was being reckless and actually harmed someone, he definitely couldn't escape the consequences.

Celestial Destiny City was not a countryside place; it housed the legendary Saint Tier experts, and no one could commit a crime here and get away with it.

"Big cousin, slow down, my cousin's passed out, she can't swallow... eh?"

The neighbor's old grandma didn't dare to speak at this moment, but the little girl beside, emboldened, voiced her fearless innocence. She had just spoken half a sentence for her cousin when she witnessed a magical scene.

The potion barely fed a little to her cousin, yet the previously unconscious cousin slowly opened her eyes.

Sniff sniff~

Oh, such a strong life aura! That potion must be an incredibly precious divine elixir. Big cousin is truly generous beyond measure!

"What happened just now? Why am I here?"

The now-awakened Alice showed a thoroughly puzzled expression. If Lynn hadn't known her identity beforehand, he might have been fooled by her pretense.

She was indeed sent to infiltrate enemy territory; her disguise was impeccable, her acting skills quite substantial, but her looks were somewhat ordinary. Though pretty, she rated no more than seventy points at best.

"Kid, you just fell off the wall and passed out. It's the young man from the neighbor's house who woke you up."

Seeing Lynn's young man effectively using the potion, the grandma couldn't criticize the rough method of pouring anymore. No matter what, being able to save the person was good, otherwise she really couldn't explain to the relatives.

"Exactly, thanks to Big cousin, you really should thank him, cousin! It's a pity cousin isn't pretty enough, otherwise you ought to marry him."

The little girl dressed in a full-body rabbit costume also chimed in exuberantly, though her words brought a sweat to everyone's brow.

The grandma didn't need mentioning; she couldn't decide on distant relatives' private affairs and couldn't bear to scold her sweet granddaughter. What else could she do? Pretend the aging ears heard nothing.

As for Alice masquerading as a Human Race, needless to say, with her humble status and standard looks, she wasn't fit for the Demon Emperor. Even for a casual fling, appearance and figure must be top-tier, and she certainly wasn't the choice.

As for Lynn, though he was rather affectionate, he wasn't the type to become excited at the sight of a woman. He still had standards; he knew where to stop and only took action when truly impressed.

"Little one, you shouldn't eat recklessly, nor should you speak carelessly. You, um… What did you call me just now? Big cousin?"

Seeing the awkward atmosphere, Lynn had to break the silence himself. While talking to the little girl in rabbit costume, he instinctively patted her bunny head, a reminder of her peculiar calling.

"Because you all smell alike, the kind of scent that makes Little Yuna uncomfortable. Yet cousin's smell makes me purely uncomfortable, while Big cousin's scent is strange; sometimes unpleasant, sometimes pleasant…"

With Lynn forcing the head pat, the little girl wasn't angry but instead squinted contentedly like a kitten being stroked. However, her words alarmed both humans and demons. Could this little one distinguish demon scent?

"You mustn't speak of others this way, it's very rude!"

The grandma couldn't bear to scold her sweet granddaughter, but before the two 'others,' she couldn't let her babble unnecessarily. How could she straightforwardly mention someone had a strange scent when clearly there wasn't any?

"Oh~ then Little Yuna won't say it, anyway Big cousin actually smells quite good."

Hearing this, the little girl pouted but didn't argue. Lately, she had been picking up on many odd scents, but adults didn't believe her even when told, which troubled Little Yuna immensely.

"Then Little Yuna, take grandma and cousin back. Brother still needs to tidy the house and truly can't entertain you now."

With others present, Lynn couldn't continue questioning the demon spy. He couldn't let the elderly and the young leave first while keeping the young woman behind, so he let them all go, arranging his dwelling before handling demon realm issues.

No matter if he became the Demon Emperor or not, he sat firmly on the Divine Protection Continent's side. If the demon spy's words were true, perhaps he should indeed visit the demon realm, but not now.

He had just arrived in this familiar yet unfamiliar world, with personal safety as a priority. Despite being level 999, having full mastery was not intact. His most powerful gear couldn't be used yet. Not having the Saint Emperor's Armor wasn't much of a hindrance, but missing the Saint Emperor's Sword slightly discounted his Holy Sword Envoy power.

"Then goodbye, Big cousin! Come find Little Yuna to play when you're free, Little Yuna quite likes you."

During the farewell, the rabbit-clad little girl reluctantly waved goodbye to Lynn. If her grandma didn't hold her back, she might have dashed over for a hug before leaving.

Lynn was self-aware about attracting little girls. Though lacking a standout charm, he often got along with young girls, a fact evident from Little Yuri.

Huh, Little Yuri, Little Yuna…

Both round-headed, adorably cute, surely they weren't twin sisters? Or did the creators get lazy with naming?

Once the neighbor's trio had left, Lynn collected the plain-looking but either priceless or commemoratively significant gear, then walked out of Lin Manor, closing the main doors.

Perhaps noting Lynn didn't seem short of money, the grandma directed him to a place for hiring cleaning services upon departure. There, not only short-term labor but also permanent servants could be recruited, depending on Lynn's needs.

Ideally, he should hire some young, pretty maids for home enjoyment, preventing her sweet granddaughter from constantly running next door…

Although Yuna was only eight this year, it's wise to prevent problems before they arise; noble masters often fancy a taste for youth.
