She didn't dare move, standing in the shadows of the castle wall, searching for direction,

However, just as Vivian fixed on her target and prepared to strike, a shadow suddenly appeared in the sky not far away, scaring Vivian into retreat!
The shadow was as silent as a ghost; if it hadn't appeared in Vivian's line of sight, she wouldn't have noticed it.
Vivian instinctively crouched low, her hand resting on the dagger at her waist, her tense hand trembling slightly.
But the shadow didn't notice her and swiftly moved towards a soldier downstairs, transforming into black mist and entering the back of the soldier's head while he was unprepared.
