It's quite comparable to the experience gained from killing a Lord.
Hunters are also by default considered as Lords.
And then, came a bunch of item rewards:
[Basic Healing Pill] x5: Can heal all organisms below 20 Energy Level, the higher the Energy Level, the slower the healing speed.
[Cabin Expansion Scroll] x2: Can increase the sea ship's cargo capacity by 500 tons.
[Blood Grenade] x2: Seems to be some sort of special Lord skill, throwing it can cause massive damage (initial damage of 20 Energy Level + 3 points/second continuous damage).
