If it were the first day of the war, one would now see massive orbs of light fired by the Magic Cannons detonating across the plains, devouring hundreds of lives. But now, there were only vigilant eyes on the walls, waiting in strict formation. Even though a few Magic Cannons were still operational, the human higher-ups were unwilling to risk them being destroyed just to obliterate some insignificant monster fodder.
