Chapter 87 - ep:81"The Other Side Of Love."

As they drove, Seungmin kept rambling — his words messy but sincere.

"I'm sorry, Han… for being such a bad partner. For never paying attention. I'm scared you'll leave me. I can't live without you. I love you so much… I didn't even realize it until that stupid Chaewon came between us. Please don't leave me for him…"

Han felt an odd warmth inside. So he's jealous? He couldn't help smiling quietly to himself.

But the endless muttering started to grate on him.

"Can you please just shut up?" Han snapped. "Can't you see I'm driving?"

Seungmin instantly fell silent.

Han smirked to himself, almost amused. So, he's obedient when I'm angry.

---

When they reached home, the bodyguard helped Seungmin to his room. Han followed behind, quietly taking off Seungmin's shoes and jacket before covering him with a blanket. He sat beside the bed, staring at him — half irritated, half tender.

Seungmin stirred, eyes fluttering open. For a brief moment, he looked straight into Han's eyes — then leaned in and kissed him.

Han didn't move away. That silent stillness became permission.

Seungmin's hand slid slowly up Han's neck, pulling him closer. Han kissed him back, leaning over him. Then, in one smooth movement, Seungmin shifted — reversing their positions and pressing Han down beneath him.

The kisses turned soft, slow, filled with a kind of desperation. But after a few moments, Seungmin stopped. He gazed into Han's eyes — and then, without warning, collapsed on top of him, already asleep.

Han sighed in frustration. "So annoying," he muttered, pushing him aside. "He always does this. Kisses me, falls asleep, then says he'll change."

---

Just then, Seungmin's phone buzzed on the nightstand. Han glanced at the caller ID — Mr. Jaehan.

Thinking it might be urgent, he first hesitated but then he answered. "Mr. Jaehan, it's me — Han. Seungmin's asleep."

"Oh, sweet Han," Mr. Jaehan said warmly. "I really needed Seungmin right now, but since he's resting, maybe you can help me instead."

Han straightened a little. "Of course, sir. What do you need?"

"Go to his study table," Jaehan said. "There's a laptop there. Open it."

Han found it easily, but when he tried to log in, it asked for a password.

"Sir, it needs a password," he said.

"It's 1410," Jaehan replied.

Han typed it in — but then paused. The password hint read: 'My important person's birthday.'

It wasn't his birthday. It wasn't Seokmin's either. It was actually Jisoo's birthday.

Han froze for a second, his heartbeat uneven, but entered the code anyway. The laptop unlocked.

He asked, "Sir, this laptop belongs to Seungmin.?"

"Yes, Han. Why? Is there a problem?"

Han swallowed. "No, sir. Just asking casually."

(I thought that maybe it was Seokmin's laptop.)

"Good," Jaehan continued. "There should be a file named The Ellef Hotel Landmark. Send that to me."

Han nodded. "Yes, sir." He sent the file — but just before closing the laptop, something caught his eye.

A folder titled My Sweet Memories.

His hand hovered over the mouse. He hesitated — he didn't want to invade Seungmin's privacy. But curiosity clawed at him until he clicked.

Hundreds of videos. Not a few dozen — hundreds. Three, maybe four hundred clips.

He opened one. Seungmin recording Jisoo at a café, sipping coffee.

He frowned and clicked another — the two of them walking through a zoo, laughing.

Han muttered, "Chahyuk was right… they really were close in middle school."

Then he opened another — both sitting at Jisoo's house doing homework. Suddenly, Seungmin leaned in and kissed Jisoo's cheek. And jisoo he just laugh shyly.

Han's eyes widened. He froze. His hand began to tremble. He quickly shut the laptop — but couldn't move. For a long moment, he just sat there, staring blankly at the floor and back at Seungmin who was still sleeping.

Finally, he opened it again, playing one more video — then another.

Each one worse than the last: hugs, affection, quiet moments, kisses.

Seungmin looked alive. Gentle. Happy. Someone Han had never seen.

With him, Seungmin was distant — cold, almost dead inside. With Jisoo, he smiled like a sunrise.

Han's chest tightened painfully. Memories began flashing in his head — Jisoo's words: "Choose me over Seungmin."

Then Seokmin's voice: "Maybe he can't love me because he loves someone else."

The noise in his head grew unbearable.

He slammed the laptop shut, grabbed it, and walked out — not even realizing he was shaking.
