After the classes, Han went to the basketball court. He looked around, but Chaewon was nowhere to be seen. As his eyes wandered, they met Jun's.
Jun called out, "Han, come here."
When Han walked closer, Jun asked, "Why is he still not here?"
"Gege, I went to say sorry just like you told me, and he accepted… I think." Han hesitated. Maybe he didn't. "Now I don't know why he's not here. Maybe he's busy with work. You know he's an idol—he can't just leave everything behind."
Jun sighed. "I'm giving you three days. Bring him back."
"Ahhh wae, wae, wae! Why me?" Han groaned. "If he doesn't want to come, that's his choice."
Jun placed a hand on his shoulder. "Han-ah, you know how much he's struggling. If he stays alone, he'll lose his mind. We need to support him."
Han clenched his teeth. I promised myself if Jun tries to manipulate me again, I won't fall for it.
But there he was, standing in front of Chaewon's door.
He pressed the bell.
The door opened slightly, and Chaewon peeked out. The moment he saw Han, he shut it immediately.
"Ya, ya! Open up, I know you're inside!" Han yelled.
Chaewon sighed and opened the door halfway. "Yes? What do you want? Need sugar? Or maybe salt?"
"Ya, move aside. Let me in," Han demanded.
"You can't just invade someone's house," Chaewon argued, trying to block him.
But Han shoved his way in with force. Chaewon pushed back, but in the end, Han stepped inside.
"Where are they?" Han asked, scanning the room.
"How?" Chaewon frowned.
"Your other members," Han answered.
"They're not here," Chaewon replied flatly.
"What? You're the only one? That's boring. I thought I'd be neighbors with idols."
"I am an idol," Chaewon muttered.
