Chapter 212 - Saber, the Problematic Mindset of the King of Knights

Lucian examined the Heroic Spirit he had just summoned for a moment, confirming that she was the real thing.

It appeared that his modifications to the Holy Grail had not turned out too poorly, as it was still able to summon a Saber—and not just any Saber, but the Saber he wanted: the King of Knights, Artoria Pendragon.

Maybe the only poor aspect was the miserable drop rate.

"Umu, I'm your Master. My name's Lucian—just Lucian."

Lucian walked up to Saber and spoke with a friendly smile.

"Even though the power that maintained my existence did not flow out from your body, I could indeed sense the connection that existed between us," Saber replied, nodding calmly. "You are truly my Master, and I am your Servant."

Originally, she intended to reveal her true name to Lucian, but the moment she noticed outsiders nearby watching, she immediately stopped herself.

"It's fine, Artoria Pendragon," Lucian said while glancing at Acheron and Asna. "Everyone here is one of us. Besides, there's no Holy Grail War here, so there's no need to hide anything."

"No Holy Grail War?" Saber asked, looking slightly startled. "When I was summoned into this world, the Grail granted me the knowledge necessary to participate in a Holy Grail War. Many concepts are difficult for me to grasp, but I know this place is entirely different from the world I knew. How did you come to know my true name? And why is there no Holy Grail War?"

As she threw out a whole string of questions at once, Lucian patiently answered them one by one.

"Yeah, for you, this is another world, with a different power system from yours. You don't need to know how I came to know you. As for the Holy Grail War..." Lucian stepped aside and pointed at the Holy Grail on the table. "As you can see, this thing already belongs to me. Do you think there's any need to fight a Holy Grail War?"

Saber's gaze was instantly drawn to the golden object on the obsidian table, which emitted strange ripples of energy.

Her emerald eyes tightened sharply, and the expression on her face shifted from the solemnity of their first meeting to shock and caution.

"Holy Grail?!" Saber stared wide-eyed, clearly astonished. "Master, y-you already obtained the Holy Grail?!"

Was this still a Holy Grail War?

She had done absolutely nothing.

She had just been summoned, and the Holy Grail was already in hand?

Was her Master some kind of powerful figure?

Lucian walked over to the obsidian table and casually picked up the modified Holy Grail.

"Too bad this isn't the Cup of Heaven you seek. It's merely a similar object from another world, and I remodeled it into a tool just for summoning Heroic Spirits."

Lucian exposed the truth calmly while inspecting the Holy Grail, then glanced at Saber.

"In the first place, I didn't summon you to take part in a Holy Grail War. I simply wanted you to work for me. You'll have food—unlimited food."

Hearing Lucian's explanation, Saber felt that all the information in her mind had turned into a chaotic mess.

No Holy Grail War, and she was summoned here just to work?

What did he mean when he said she would have unlimited food?

Why did it sound like she was being treated like a pet?

"But… I'm only a Heroic Spirit. I cannot remain forever..." Saber said with hesitation. "Once the energy sustaining my existence is exhausted, I will vanish."

"Okay, come with me," Lucian said with a smile before turning around. "I will let you truly exist in this world."

Holding the Holy Grail, he walked into the house, but after just several steps, he stopped and looked back at Acheron.

"Acheron, you come too. Let me show you how to steal someone from the hands of the Nihility."

He then turned to Asna.

"You come as well, Asna."

With that, the three women followed Lucian into the house one after another.

In the living room, Lucian formed a white bandage with the Godly Bandage, then wrapped it around Asna and Saber, binding their bodies like mummies.

As soon as the bandage touched their bodies, both of them felt a strange sense of 'loosening.'

It was not painful, but it felt as though some invisible shackle binding their souls was being gently peeled away and dissolved by an unknown power, and before long, they could clearly sense the forced magical link from the Holy Grail being overpowered and rewritten by this power.

"What are you doing to them?"

Acheron stared at the two mummies, curiosity rising in her mind as she directed the question toward Lucian.

"It's a conceptual ability," Lucian answered as he sat on the couch, looking straight into Acheron's eyes. "As long as the concept of your existence hasn't fully disappeared, I can restore you to what I consider your prime state—even if you've already been tainted by IX's Nihility."

When Acheron heard this outrageous answer, she instantly judged that this so-called conceptual ability was beyond broken.

"But when Tiernan was resurrected, there weren't any bandages..."

Acheron spoke with a faint frown on her face, looking skeptical.

"Well, that's another secret," Lucian said calmly with a chuckle. "For now, you can't know it yet."

A few seconds later, while Lucian and Acheron chatted, the bandages wrapping around Saber and Asna finally finished their restoration and suddenly dispersed.

As he expected, what Lucian saw next were the naked bodies of the two women.

Given that they were Heroic Spirits with no physical bodies, to turn them into living humans, their physical bodies had to be restored, which meant removing the clothes that were part of their spiritual bodies entirely.

Unlike the previously old-looking Asna, she now looked younger, taking on the form of a young, beautiful woman in her twenties, with a decent figure as well.

Unfortunately, Lucian had little interest in her, and his focus remained on Saber.

Like Asna, Saber also looked like a young woman in her twenties, but instead of appearing younger like Asna, Saber now appeared a little older than her previous teenage form.

Her muscle lines appeared tight and elegant, carrying a distinct sense of strength.

Her breast size was somewhere around a D to F cup—enough to raise a child without worry.

Her skin was smooth and pale.

Her body had a perfect golden ratio, with a thin waist, wide hips, and supple buttocks.

Her long golden hair fell loosely over her shoulders.

In Lucian's eyes, Saber now looked like her Lancer version in the Fate series.

"I… I feel… different!" Asna moved her fingers, touched her ears, and revealed a look of disbelief mixed with joy. "How to say it... those shackles... they kind of... disappeared?"

Right after saying this, however, Asna finally realized that she was actually standing completely naked.

In the next instant, a wave of embarrassment hit her all at once, and she instinctively covered her upper and lower private parts with her hands.

Saber, on the other hand, was completely different.

As a king and a warrior who had experienced countless battles, and someone who had regarded herself as a man almost her entire life, she didn't show even the slightest hint of shyness—only surprise and confusion as she felt her body becoming real and free from the restraints of the Holy Grail, without needing any external energy to maintain her existence.

Needless to say, she had now become an actual human being!

"It's... amazing... If Master were in my world, everyone would be fighting over you."

Saber raised her arms, lifted her legs, touched her stomach, and checked her big breasts right in front of Lucian, nonchalantly confirming her new body without a care.

Her movements were completely unrestrained, falling entirely into Lucian's view and making him feel as if he were watching a full nude show.

"Um... Miss Saber... Is it really okay for you to move around without any clothes on?"

Asna asked in embarrassment, looking at Saber with a slightly strange expression.

Right now, even if Lucian told her to do something, she would obey, but as a normal woman, she still felt an instinctive sense of embarrassment.

It was only natural, for from childhood until death, no one had ever seen her bare body, as she had remained a maiden until death and never married, which made it normal for her to feel embarrassed.

Saber, however, despite also exposing herself in front of someone for the first time, had a different mindset.

In her eyes, they were both women, so she found nothing worth caring about.

As for Lucian...

"Even if Master sees my body, there's no need to think too much about it," Saber said calmly, her expression solemn. "Before treating me as a woman, you should remember that I'm a Servant."

Saber's point of view left Asna stunned.

If Saber said it like that, didn't it make her look like an overly self-conscious woman?

As this thought crossed her mind, Asna ultimately forced herself to release her hands and stop covering herself.

"Anyway, you two should put on some clothes first."

Lucian shook his head, then casually conjured two sets of clothing and tossed them to the two naked women with a calm expression.

Seeing the two go to the nearby room to change, he felt both pleased and troubled by Saber's attitude. Even without the Command Spells binding her, Saber still treated him as her Master, to the point of allowing him to admire her naked body so nonchalantly.

Clearly, her loyalty was extremely high, which in itself was not a bad thing, but that was also where the problem lay.

Considering that Saber didn't mind—even nonchalantly showing her strong, toned naked body—meant that she saw him strictly as a Master in a hierarchical relationship, nothing more, nothing less.

Nevertheless, since this was their first meeting, he had not expected anything beyond that.

For now, being able to view 'VIP contents' openly and legitimately was already more than enough.
