After that it was announced any that wanted to learn could come and train under the last generation of apprentices. It was a beautiful morning, and the queen gave them a tree house that could hold all the Sword mages; she even said it would become their guild house if Orion desired, and he approved.
Over the next week Orion toured the elven town with various officials. They shared magic knowledge and stocked up on fresh fruits and veggies for their journey. His generals followed him around and interacted with the elves, the rats did the same, all of his people understood how to treat others with respect. All the elves thought they were blessed by their presence, and every now and again, just to please the elves, one would start to sing the song of truth and the others spread out through the Elvin village. Upon hearing it every Sword mage would join in the song; in this way they purified the Elvin village.
Every time the song was sung the elves all clapped, enjoying the music and the feeling that washed over them. It was almost a village wide flash mob. This was only the start for some, because they could go to the guild and watch as the new trainees trained in hand to hand out front, and those who went to the guilds training rooms, they would sometimes lead to seeing pairs dancing with swords and sometimes spells. To a lot these spar sessions were very entertaining.
The entire three weeks was like a long festival for the elves. Of course, Orion watched everything that happened, and they were rats, wolves, tigers act, all acted as the oat demanded; his generals were the same. The problem Orion started to have is at night Topaz would come into his room while he was sleeping, and seeing Topaz do this Sherly and Night joined her. The beds in the Elvin tree house were very big. Suddenly Orion had three girls trying for his love and attention.
The first night it happened, Orion asked what they were thinking. Sherly and Night said they wanted to protect him from Topaz, since they saw her sneaking into his room. Topaz simply said she didn't feel comfortable sleeping alone.
Orion looked at them and said, "Then sleep together."
And they did.
But the next night, they returned again. When he asked why, Topaz said," you said to sleep together so we did we are sleeping together with you".
Orion frowned. "Don't you think you should ask whether I want you in my bed? Last night I told you to sleep together not to come share my bed do you know how this looks to the troops"?
The three girls say in unison "that you have a healthy libido. It also says we are yours, and they are not to touch us."
Orion asked, "Is anyone trying to approach you in our army?"
All three replied, "No one would dare."
"Then why," Orion asked, "are you in my room?"
The Girls say "because we want everyone to know we are yours and we claim you as our mate"
Orion sighed. "Don't I have a say in this?"
"the girls all said "you are too heartbroken to have a say so we have to make sure you know you are loved"!"
"So, no matter what," Orion said slowly, "I am going to have all three of you in my room?"
"Yes," they answered.
Orion ask "what if I sleep naked"?
Topaz says "please do. It will make it so we can mate with you".
Orion rubbed his temples realizing that he is not getting through to tem. "What if I tell you this is inappropriate and I don't like it?"
Topaz says "it makes better diplomatic relations if the people think you have strong women at your side and have the possibility of making offspring. People want to see that what you built will be carried on by your children. On top of that we would all die to protect you because we all love you. In this way we have all discussed everything and have agreed to all be your wives. All you have to do is accept us and we will satisfy all your earthly desires".."
Orion took a long breath. "Can I have time to think about this without the pressure of you three in my room?"
All three answered at once, "No."
Then night says "it's like this all three of us are deeply in love with you and we all want to make sure you know it and even though we are not your x we all know what we want and if you were to reject any one of us we can't allow that to happen because it would kill us inside and we would become susceptible to the shadow possession".
Orion stared at them. "So, I can't reject you even if I want to? You would rather force yourselves into my life than allow a real relationship to grow naturally? Do you not see how this could make me resent you? Do you not see how wrong this is?"
So, would it be better if I kill all three of you because of you three forcing yourself on me? Because you seem to think that I have to have feelings for you for various reasons. Or because your delusional and decided what you want matters more than my feelings or mental wellbeing? Do you three not see how this can make it worse for you than make me want anything to do with you? Can you not see where this is wrong? It would be one thing if you each approached me and asked but you haven't and just because I'm a man this is just like abuse. Is this how you want me to think of you? If you don't care then I will hate you for good reason and when I execute you in front of our army for this. How do you think they will react?
He shook his head. "It would be one thing if each of you approached me honestly. But you didn't. You assumed. You decided what I should feel. You decided what I should want. And you think that because I'm a man, I should simply accept it."
He looked at them with a seriousness they had never seen. "Is this how you want me to think of you? As people who ignore my boundaries? If I were a lesser man, I would cast you out of the order for this. How do you think the army would react?"
He turned to Topaz. "I told you I wasn't ready. Yet you came into my room without permission. And even after I said no the first time, you all came back again."
