Stellar Tower – Elders Hall
Moments Later…
A vast blue magic circle spread across the stone floor of the Elders Hall, rippling with light before bursting open with ethereal blue flames. From within, Justin Dawn appeared, silver hair messier than usual, wearing his usual half-buttoned lab coat and rimmed glasses slightly tilted to one side.
He yawned dramatically.
"What's this about, Headmistress? I'm in the middle of training my student."
Before the Headmistress could answer, a voice snapped from the side.
"Watch your tone, Justin! You're standing before the Elders Council!"
It was Rowan, the red-haired firestorm in human form, barely concealing the hostility in his voice.
Justin lazily tilted his head.
"Oh? What's wrong, Rowan? Still sore because my student stole your crush's panties?" he asked with a smug grin that practically radiated provocation.
"YOU BASTARD!" Rowan roared as his fiery aura erupted—flames surged violently around him, heating the room. He was about to lunge forward when—
"Enough."
The Headmistress raised her hand, and the flames around Rowan sputtered, suppressed by her will.
She turned back to Justin with a composed expression.
"I didn't summon you here to fight. I need you to investigate the area in the Flame Dungeon where two confirmed members of Devil's Backyard were sighted. Your student was also involved. He was captured, nearly killed."
But Justin only stared back coolly and said with an indifferent snort, he knows its just headmistress way for getting him worked for free.
"So? You want my help? Give me a reason to. Then I'll consider it."
Gasps filled the room. Several elders stood, anger brimming.
"Insolent child—!" Rowan started again,
but another cold voice rang,
"Enough." from the Headmistress silenced him.
Her voice turned sharper now.
"Are you saying you don't care your own student who was nearly killed?"
But Justin wasn't buying it. He narrowed his eyes, his teasing aura gone.
"You don't care about my student. So don't pretend. If you want me involved, you'll have offer something. I'm not your pet beast you unleash when convenient."
The room instantly soured. One female instructor stood.
"Don't forget, Justin Dawn, the academy took you back, gave you resources, unsealed your lab. You owe us."
Another joined in, stern.
"Show respect to your elders, boy. Don't forget its the academy that made you."
Rowan leaned back smugly, pleased to see Justin finally under pressure.
Headmistress trying to ease the tension but situation seemed out of control. Its not only about Justin's attitude, the real reason is envy. The headmistress has to call him because none of them could deal with the situation, as much they hate to admit they are nothing compared to monster like him. So only thing they can do is run their mouth.
Then Instructor Gaze, calmly stroking his mustache, chuckled and said with a knowing grin:
"You have a student now, don't you? I wonder how long he'd last… if things got a little difficult for him."
He tapped his fingers together. "What was his name again? Ah, yes. Adonis, right?"
That.
Was.
The. Final. Straw.
Justin stopped. Slowly removed his glasses. His grin vanished replaced with icy cold glare.
Even the Headmistress flinched.
"...Oh no," she whispered. now they have done it.
The very air cracked.
BOOOOM—!
Reality itself shivered. The hall groaned under the weight of space magic so dense it warped the structure itself . A terrible azure light swirled around Justin, who now stood calmly but aura around him is so inhuman, almost like that of ancient demon.
Even his eyes, no longer lazy or mischievous, were two piercing pools of nether abyss.
The overbearing pressure—like an ancient beast awakening—descended on the entire chamber.
All the elders began to sweat. Breathing became difficult. The marble under their feet cracked. Rowan, who had been ready to taunt again, froze. His eyes wide with raw fear.
"It's only been five years..." the Headmistress thought, swallowing nervously.
"And he's already surpassed the level he was at during the massacre."
Justin's voice rang out like judgment from the abyss.
"Seems like people forgot what happened ten years ago."
With a icy voice he continued.
"Do you want me to remind you?"
No one dared move. Even speaking was hard now. The younger elders were trembling. The flames around Rowan were gone, snuffed like a candle under a hurricane.
"Jus... Justin… Dawn—" Rowan tried, choking on his words.
But Justin just walked right past him like he don't exist, toward the exit. His coat fluttered behind him, its not the wind just his presence alone is shaking the room.
As he reached the door, he paused, slowly turning his head—azure light shining in his eyes and with a deadly glare—he looked directly at Instructor Gaze.
"I don't care whose ass you're kissing. But if you think about touching my student again—"
Suddenly, the pressure focused solely on Gaze and Rowan. The two men fell to their knees, choking, the very weight of Justin's killing intent burying them like an ocean.
Terror filled their eyes, as the gaze that look like death itself is glaring at them.
Justin pressure was so overwhelming that blood started coming down from all their orifices.
Then with the chilling tone he said.
"Know!"
"Your!"
"Place!"
The air exploded with killing intent.
BANG!
Rowan collapsed on the spot, fainting with foam in his mouth.
Instructor Gaze stumbled back, pale as death, gasping for breath.
And just like that—Justin left.
The pressure vanished. The room exhaled. The other elders slumped in their seats, drained.
The Headmistress stared at the closed doors he left through and muttered with dry sarcasm:
"...At least he didn't kill anyone this time."
