That evening – Justin's Lab
Adonis collapsed into a crooked wooden chair, breath ragged, arms limp like overcooked noodles. His uniform was stained in everything from glowing blue slime to something that still wriggled under the cloth. Behind him, a broom floated aimlessly in a cauldron, occasionally spinning like a drowning duck.
"…Done," he croaked, voice more spirit than sound. "Your lab looks… less like a biological war crime."
Justin strolled in, sipping something alcohol from a flask shaped like a dragon's skull. "Huh. You survived. Impressive. I thought the sentient mold on the back shelf would eat you."
Adonis squinted through the candlelight. "You knew about that? why didn't you tell me?"
"That would've ruined the fun." Justin tossed him a towel. "Anyway—congrats. You passed Test One: 'Obedience, Endurance, and Not Exploding.' You're already more promising than most faculty."
"Is this… how you train all your students?" Adonis muttered, wiping his face.
"I've never had one before," Justin said brightly, ignoring the trauma on Adonis's face. "But since you survived cleanup, I'll now tell you your real test. The one that truly measures bravery, guts, and your will to grow stronger."
Adonis leaned forward, heart pounding.
"What could it be? defeating a senior? no maybe clearing a super hard dungeon, or maybe mastering a difficult technique? no matter what, I will clear it all." Adonis thought inwardly, his eyes burning with anticipation.
Justin's tone dropped low and serious. "In the East Wing," he began, "lies the Illusion Training Hall. A place where advanced students hone their minds against tricks, traps, and illusions. There, you'll find an instructor named Alaria."
Adonis blinked. He'd heard of her—King-class mage, graceful, brilliant, and… yes, quite famous among male students. But not only because of beauty but also her mastery in advanced magic of illusion, she is incredibly popular in both girls and boys, some even revered her as Goddess.
"She is," Justin continued solemnly, "a master of illusion. A flawless beauty. Highly respected."
Adonis nodded slowly. "So… do I challenge her?"
"No." Justin's gaze sharpened. "challenging a king class mage you will die before you even realize".
"Your task… is....
to steal her panties within three days."
Adonis choked on his breath. His mind was spinning,
"Did he just ask him to steal panties of king class mage?" he thought
"Wh-what did you just say?"
"You heard me," Justin said with unnerving calm.
"Steal Instructor Alaria's panties. Three days. Without getting caught."
Adonis's brain short-circuited. "Is… is this some kind of dirty joke?!"
Justin yawned, already walking away. "You'll figure it out. If you fail, don't bother coming back. I don't train cowards."
And with that, he left the room.
Adonis stared at the door. For five full minutes.
Then he slumped back into the chair, eyes hollow.
"Steal… panties? From a king-class mage?! This isn't a trial, it's a death sentence!"
He buried his face in the towel.
"…He's not just a genius… not just a sadist…But a pervert too…"
"What do I do? should I give up? or just go for it?
