Jimmy hurried toward the restroom, but a few thugs blocked his way.
"Heh, Corey, how's the negotiation going?" Jimmy whispered to Corey behind him.
"Not very well," Corey replied with a helpless smile.
"Alright, let me help you then!" Jimmy sneered coldly. Instantly, he threw a punch and sent one thug flying. Then with a swift kick, he knocked another thug away.
At that moment, the Tiger Gang members realized what was happening.
"Shoot!" the Tiger shouted, and a dozen of his men pulled out guns. Corey's side also drew weapons.
But Jimmy stretched out his hand and flicked, knocking the gun from a thug's hand beside the Tiger.
Then Jimmy pulled out a gun of his own, pressing it against the Tiger's forehead coldly.
"You know what to do. Tell them to drop their weapons!"
"Hmph! If you have the guts, kill me!" The Tiger snarled defiantly.
"Heh, then I'll grant your wish!" Jimmy sneered.
Bang! The Tiger's head exploded instantly from the gunshot.
Jimmy quickly aimed his gun at the remaining armed Tiger members and fired ten rapid shots.
All the guns in their hands flew away.
"You have two choices: obey or die," Jimmy said coldly.
Hearing this, the Tiger Gang members glanced at each other and raised their hands.
"Good! Corey, you know what to do!" Jimmy shouted to the Black man behind him.
"Yes, sir!" Corey immediately ordered his men to clear the Tiger's corpse and began taking over the gang's assets and territory.
Jimmy rushed toward the restroom and kicked open the women's door.
"Ah!" A scream came from inside.
"It's me!" Jimmy covered his ears and hurriedly said.
He saw Karen's clothes were intact and breathed a sigh of relief.
Then Jimmy noticed a brown-haired girl curled up against the wall, and Karen was caring for her.
"Jimmy, you came! Where are those people?" Karen asked anxiously.
"They've been taken down. How did you get here? What happened to her?" Jimmy hurried over.
Tears in her voice, Karen said, "They drugged her!"
Jimmy was stunned, then quickly said, "Take her to the hospital right away!"
"No, her papers have expired! If we go to a regular hospital, she'll be deported!" Karen said hastily.
"...Wait here!" Jimmy left the words and ran outside.
"Corey, I'm taking someone with expired papers to the hospital. Please handle things here," Jimmy instructed hurriedly.
Corey was startled but nodded quickly, "No problem, sir!"
"Good!" Jimmy nodded, then ran back to the restroom, picked up the girl, and said to Karen, "Alright, I already talked to my friend. He'll handle everything. Now let's go to the hospital!"
"Okay!" Karen nodded quickly.
Jimmy carried the girl out, reminded Corey again, and then he and Karen hailed a taxi.
On the way to the hospital, Jimmy frowned, looking worried as he asked Karen, "What exactly happened?"
Karen was silent for a moment, then sighed and began explaining:
"Tonight, Aileen wanted to take me to a bar. I didn't want to go, but she insisted. I was worried, so I followed. At the bar, everything was fine at first; Aileen just had some cocktails. Then a Black man with a tiger tattoo on his face showed up and said he'd show us 'something beautiful.'"
"Though we resisted fiercely, the Black man dragged us into the restroom. He took out a syringe and injected Aileen while she fought back. When it was my turn, someone called him away to 'negotiate.' Then he locked Aileen and me in the restroom. I was terrified, but I thought of you and called you..." Karen sobbed.
Jimmy fell silent.
That Black man with the tiger tattoo — wasn't he the gang leader Jimmy had just shot dead? Serves him right!
"Don't worry. Aileen will be fine! That man has received his punishment," Jimmy comforted, putting an arm around Karen.
Karen glanced at Jimmy's serious face and nodded softly.
At the hospital, doctors found Aileen had been injected with ice drug and needed to stay for observation, possibly requiring forced detoxification if addicted.
Outside the hospital, Jimmy said to Karen, "Let me take you home."
He hailed a cab, sent Karen home, and then left as Karen waved goodbye.
The next morning, Jimmy arrived at the training spot and saw Peter bent over drawing something.
"Peter, what are you doing?" Jimmy asked curiously.
Hearing his voice, Peter looked up and saw Jimmy's curious face. He quickly stood and said, "Oh! Master! I'm studying the cables you gave me!"
"Oh! So you've found a way?" Jimmy asked eagerly, knowing only with spider silk can one truly be Spider-Man.
Peter nodded, "I have ideas. Now I just need to figure out how to test it!"
"Good, but not now. Let's continue with physical and combat training!" Jimmy nodded.

Back at school, Jimmy was surprised Karen actually greeted him!
This really made Jimmy feel special because usually Karen was shy and silent.
"Hi, Karen. Let's visit Aileen after school!" Jimmy said quickly.
"Okay!" Karen nodded.
Actually, Aileen was also a classmate, but Jimmy never paid much attention.
In the afternoon, Jimmy took Karen to the downtown hospital and saw Peter and Aunt May there too.
"Huh, Master, what are you doing here?" Peter asked curiously.
"Hello! I'm here with Karen to see Aileen!" Jimmy greeted Aunt May first, then said.
"Oh! What happened to Aileen?" Peter recalled Aileen was a brown-haired classmate who rarely paid attention to him.
"Nothing serious!" Jimmy glanced at Aunt May, then said, "Alright, you go see your uncle first. We'll visit later."
Karen watched Peter and Aunt May walk away, then said to Jimmy, "I heard Peter's uncle was hospitalized due to a gunshot. I didn't expect it to be true!"
"Yeah! After visiting Aileen, we'll visit your uncle too!" Jimmy smiled.
"Okay!" Karen nodded.
In room 909, Aileen was awake. She was surprised to see Karen and Jimmy come in and quickly thanked Jimmy.
"Thank you!"
Jimmy was surprised and hurriedly said, "No need to thank me!" He thought she meant for taking her to the hospital.
"No, it's about my residence permit!" Aileen said quickly.
