RANMA VS AKAZA SECOND HALF BEGINS Location the Demon Slayer-verse, Japan-Mugen Train-wreck Site, Inside a Barrier Dome
Akaza have managed to break Ranma's aura. Through a constant onslaught of attacks. Only for Ranma to respond with a two-kick combo, followed-up by a one-inch punch. Which leads to now. Both demonic martial artists are standing directly in front of the other, eager to keep the fight going. Still early in the morning, and this fight has been this intense. Akaza was truly enjoying himself, even the previous fight with Rengoku, didn't compare to this. Issei, Sona, Rias, Asia, Laharl, and Gyutaro watched, and cheered for their friend. While the slayers, still looked bewildered. This was a fight far off their level. Zenitsu, finally awake. He rushed over, holding onto Nezuko's box, with the said demon girl secure and sleeping inside. When Tanjiro saw them, he thanked Zenitsu for making sure Nezuko was safe. When a huge explosion, scared Zenitsu. As his focus turn to inside the transparent dome barrier. Seeing demons in a brutal clash of punches, and kicks. The thunder using slayer, shrieked in terror. Demanding answers, as he watched the pink-haired tattooed demon, against the black-haired, long pig-tailed demon. Inosuke, yelled at Zenitsu to shut it. That he wants to watch this fight. After Zenitsu cowarded behind Tanjiro, Tanjiro apologized for Zenitsu and started explaining thing to his blond haired friend, as best he could. As this is happening outside of the barrier, Ranma and Akaza were engaged in a brutal beatdown each other. With Akaza kicked Ranma's ribs, then spun around delivering a short, palm-heel strike to Ranma's chin. Smiling Akaza then follows up his attack, with a overhead, spin kick to Ranma's head. Which Ranma countered with a vicious overhead elbow strike, hitting and crushing the right side of Akaza's skull. Forcing the Upper Moon to back off, which actually shocked Akaza. With his regeneration, plus his enemy not using whatever Blood Demon Art, he shouldn't have to worry or be cautious. But his instincts and years of honed training. They screamed at him to disengage. Akaza realized that Ranma could kill him, by using his strength and martial art skills alone. Instead of terror, Akaza, he felt excitement!!
Akaza laughs. As he addresses Ranma, "I thought Rengoku was special. Strong. Unique!! But you? Ranma tell me, why haven't you showed yourself for so long? You and your comrades are clearly everything Lord Muzan wanted, and more. If you desired..." Ranma cut him off. As Ranma responded to the loads of questions, that Akaza has bubbling up. Saying, "Because Muzan never had a soul. Even as a human, he was a monster and never cared about anything, apart himself. Look at me, I have seven women that I love and treasure, I turned my mother into a devil, so she can be with me, my girls...and my future kids forever." when he said the last part, flustered and blushing. Issei and Laharl smirked, as they said, "Worry not we'll tell Nodoka that she can start, making baby supplies for her grandbabies." Ranma face blushed deeper, trying to keep his cool, and persona. Once again telling Akaza, that Muzan isn't a king or worthy of true power and immortality. Because he is clearly an asshole. With a man like that, plus a world that one can't enjoy, isn't worth... Ranma mentally thanked Sona and Blake, for making up this excuse, should they have to talk to a demon, Muzan himself, or even the Slayers. And right now, there basically talking to all three of players, at the same time. Akaza was shocked. And so were the slayers, as Rengoku and Tanjiro, were bewiled. Hearing what Ranma just confessed, a demon that cherishes life, then Zenitsu yelled out, "What!!? Seven women!!!? Are demons more luckier with women, then me!!!? Kami-sama!!!! This isn't fair!!!!" Issei looked at Zenitsu, feeling some kindredship with the blond swordsman. If he could, he'd pray to somebody for Zenitsu. As he understood his pain, while happy for his friends...Issei still mentally cries and yells to the heavens, "When am I gonna get my chance!!? Am I not worthy to be a Harem King!!!? Kiba!! Ranma!!! Laharl!!!! They all got their own girls, when am I gonna join them!!!?" That's when Rias noticed that her pawn is crying, openly weeping with sorrow, just like that Zenitsu boy. She decided to let him vent a bit, as the fight between Ranma and Akaza finally resumed...

Ranma blocks Akaza's latest attack. A straight and powerful punch to the chest. Ranma then pushes back Akaza, making the fighting demon use the momentum to flip in the air. Delivering a couple close-ranged, Air Type punches at Ranma. A few hitting Ranma, causing some minor scratches, while the rest of the air punches, were blocked. The Upper Three rushed in to deliver a brutal punch, straight to Ranma's ribs, only for Ranma to deliver a powerful technique against the Upper Moon. Delivering a more powerful and advance shoryuken variant. Ranma started with a powerful, stunning gut blow to Akaza, catching the Upper Moon completely off guard. As he spat up blood, felling his bones break. Ranma focusing ki through said blow,, and then a following it up with short, heavy ki-uppercut, focusing the rest of his strength, force, and ki through the blow onto Akaza's chin. Destroying the demon's jawbone, as Ranma finished the technique, by fully performing the rest of the powerful, rising, spinning, uppercut. Yelling out, "Shin Shoryuken!!" as he launched Akaza to the air. Destroying majority of Akaza's head. Even giving the Upper Moon, something that he hasn't felt something like this. An actual concoction. Leaving him open for a follow-up attack from Ranma. Hitting the fighting demon in the chest, with his Joudan Sokutou Geri. The high blade kick, striking straight at throat of the falling, slightly incapacitated Akaza. Again Akaza spat out blood. As the Upper Rank, was blasted away by Ranma's kick. Issei "ohhhed" at the sight. While Gyutaro laughed and pointed at Akaza, yelling at him that he finally got with he'd always wanted, a real ass whooping. As Akaza got up, his head still rattling. Ranma watched mentally chuckling, and telling himself, "Seems that I owe Laharl a beer, after this. He's right, when dealing with most immortal opponents, aim for the head, it usually works." Akaza took a moment, before he fully recover. And get hit by a vicious overhead heel-kick, from Ranma. Knocking the fighting demon down on the ground. Akaza heard Ranma say, "Still owe ya, from the kick of before." Ranma then took a few steps back, gaining some distance as Akaza leaped back onto his feet. Getting into his Soryu stance, with the Destructive Death snowflake manifesting around his feet. A bloodthirsty smile on his face, as he addressed Ranma, "This is the best fight that I've ever had, Ranma Saotome...don't die on me yet." suddenly the blue snowflake, turned blood red. As Akaza launched himself straight at Ranma, saying the name of his technique, "Destructive Death: Eight-Layered Demon Core." Akaza once close enough, he unleashed eight powerful punches. Each strike creating large and strong shockwaves. All impacting hard, against Ranma's body. Actually causing some damage, as it was Ranma's turn to be sent flying. Crashing against the barrier. Everyone watched this sudden turn of events. With only Laharl and Gyutaro not being surprised. Because both devils expected this. During the Rengoku fight, Akaza either he desperately wanted the flame hashira alive, or he wasn't serious. Which shatters the character that the author made for Akaza, especially in the Infinite Castle Arc, it showed that Akaza is much stronger and capable than his first appearance. Honestly...if not for the author good story telling, and backstories. Fan would have raged that they released Akaza early, knowing his true power. Regardless seems that Akaza is finally taking the gloves off, and Ranma has to also get a bit more serious.
As Ranma finally re-emerged, with some damage on his body. But thanks to Sona, Raven, and Gwen's combined work. Ranma came prepared for this, having a regen spell on him. Giving the illusion that he's a higher leveled demon, instead of a devil. So in the end, only his clothes were damaged in that attack. Seeing this Akaza's joy and excitement grew. Ranma then responded to Akaza's last attack, with another one of his special surprises. Surging Cat-ki throughout his body, the pinkish ki-aura coating Ranma's body. His eyes becoming cat slits, and focused on Akaza. Akaza eyes show shock, as he saw Ranma's fighting spirit ignite once again. Bursting in fearsome inferno, then he saw it. The silhouette of a fearsome cat of prey, roaring right at him. Akaza's body shivered unconsciously. He'd thought Rengoku's final attack was awe-inspiring, but this...it was another level. Akaza wasn't the only one that saw this great cat. Inosuke that took a unconscious step back, Rengoku forced himself steady, while Zenitsu out of instinct pulled Tanjiro back from the perceived threat. With a smirk, Ranma spoke in a clear challenging tone, "Let's see you, handles this?" His provocation, knocked Akaza out of his shock. Disappearing in a burst of speed, that none except Gyutaro and Laharl could track, Akaza lost all trace of Ranma. A new thing that has never happened to the fighting demon before, the moment his eyes made a slight movement, a explosion of a powerful impact happened. Akaza's right side of his head, was destroyed along with parts of his neck. His collar bone, and right shoulder all shatter upon impact, as the shockwave of sound, finally burst forth. While using the Cat-Ki, all of Ranma's physical attributes, especially speed, drastically increase. And he just hit Akaza, with a powerful right cross to the head. But Ranma didn't stop, grabbing hold of Akaza's vest, before he was blasted away from the punch. Ranma started wailing blows, down upon the Upper Rank. Utterly overpowering Akaza with punches, and the occasional ki-claw swipe. Crushing and slashing away on a worthy opponent. Aside the guys...minus Issei, who still isn't at the level of a straight starting clash of power. Only Yang, Shampoo, Ranko, Caulifla, Ruby, and Nora, can force Ranma to fight with the Cat-ki on. So he rarely uses it, becoming a secret weapon, like the Hiryu Shoten Ha. Which only Laharl has never fallen to the technique, but Ranma wasn't gonna use that on Akaza instead. He stopped throwing cat-ki, surging punches, and letting go at the barely whole Akaza, instead he started swiping his ki-claws, in a brutal frenzy. Using his Cat Claw Flurry. A rapid attack, using pinkish cat ki-claws to slash apart at Akaza. With Akaza unable to fight back at all, everytime out of reflex, he strike with a regenerated arm to block or counter Ranma's flurry. That recently regenerated limb, would be slashed apart or off his body. Leaving him at Ranma's mercy. With Ranma using the Cat-Ki in such a concentrated way, instead for taking down a target quickly and cutting off the Cat-ki. Ranma is keeping it on, and holding back. Cause one ki-claw swipe to the neck, and he'll kill Akaza before he has his fill of this fight. As this beatdown continued, Laharl glanced over at the slayers. Sighing. He stood up, telling his fellow devils, he'll be back. As he has something to deal with. Understanding and waving him off, Laharl walked to the edge the train-cart and jumped off. Then once on the ground, he made his way to the slayers. When Rengoku noticed Laharl approaching, he stood in front of the fledging slayer. Even without his blade, he'll protect everyone. When Inosuke, Tanjiro, and Zenitsu also stood on guard, Laharl saw this and sighed. Placing his gloved hands on this jacket's pockets, he said in nonchalant tone, "Relax. If I wanted to do anything, I wouldn't have asked Asia to save the hashira. So calm down will ya." Tanjiro and the others did relax a bit, as what Laharl said is true. Laharl stopped approaching, so the slayer can calm down a bit. As he looked back to the fight, within the dome barrier, and said to the slayers. That they should leave. Even if they brought back-up, or stayed to watch, the outcome will remain the same. Them being a annoyance, plus using their own code against them, reminding them they needed to help out the scattered passengers, and return to their headquarters. As they'll need to report this, and Laharl then said, "And regardless what you guys say, it doesn't matter. As we can end this war in one sweep, it just that we want to see if you guys, can finally make some progress, after soo long. Think of it as a race, who saves Japan first...humans, or devil?" challenging them. This did spark a fire on their asses, as Rengoku ordered Tanjiro and friends that their leaving. The firmness in his tone, showing that he wouldn't hear anything against this order. Inosuke and Zenitsu helped Tanjiro, as they left with their healed Hashira. Finally pushing this new plot forward, as this will be the newest training session for the main cast, and let the devils enjoy themselves. As Laharl started making his way back to his seat, so he can enjoy the rest of this fight. Just like Ranma is doing right now.
